Maybe it's just me or did Lee Soo Hyuk have one job too many done to his face? He looks kind of like an alien. Anyway, this drama is like one of the best ever though the heroine, yeah, she is kind of getting annoying.
On Lovers of Music Jul 2, 2014
At times this drama feels a bit boring but then the young director and moments of truth always save it! The touching moments are so freaking touching I want to cry T__T And the sizzling chemistry, love love love!

Title One Well-Raised Daughter Spoiler
I'm now at ep 74 and can't help but feel bad for Do Hyun! He was prepared to love Hana even thinking she was a man, he was ready to give up everything and just be with her but she became distant and pushed him away. Then Do Hyun had to get married with Ra Hui just to protect HaNa and no one ever told him she was actually a woman. Which makes me wonder like wtf? doesn't he read news or anything?!!! but anyway, no one told him and when he came back and met HaNa again she hated him with passion. Poor guy...

Wow. I can't believe so many people gave this a 9. I gave it a 5.5. I was bored all the way though. The only thing…
Me too! I think this was one of the worst dramas I ever watched. Ever since the polar bear came along it went downhill episode by episode. The best drama about a career woman finding her love is still Dal Ja's Spring.

This is one of the shittiest drama ever, i haven't seen as bad acting for a while...
I wish that was enough xD

I'm officially speechless about this whole case. Even more I don't understand people who condemn Park Shi Hoo for having a one night stand which is absolutely normal and a lot of people do that anyway, even Koreans. So much evidence was pointing at PSH's innocence that I actually wonder if the trainee got scared or something.

Jung Yong Hwa? Woot, lol. I totally disagree with this, haha. But I agree about Jiro Wang, every darma with him is a great drama. How can a person be so cute, so full of energy and make all those foolish over the top characters so real?

But where is Eric Mun (Shinwa) I'd place him second. And there is Kim Myungsoo (Infinite) Though he didn't act in many dramas yet, but he did pretty many MVs, anyway I think he is pretty good. Takuya Kimura? (is he too old, or am I getting too old?) and Vic Zhou, he is like the best.

Korean dramas are nothing but huge commercials, everything in them is product placement: food, sceneries, clothes,…
I guess bad product placements are when attentions is purposely driven at the products. Like when a person is driving and then camera goes to show how he changes a gear. Like why would you film that? Who cares? And good ones are on the background naturally, it's okay if the audience sees them but they don't poke you in the eye, lol.

You know what pisses me off the most? How they start typing messages on their phones or they show the screen of the phone and how the person slides their finger on the screen before answering. Why film that? Then in Queen In Hyun's man, there was one scene when she was looking at her phone WHILE holding a can of juice to her cheek and the camera showed her from all possible angles so the can could be seen all the time, obviously "hey, look she is going to drink this and you should too." Poking me in the eye T__T

Korean dramas are nothing but huge commercials, everything in them is product placement: food, sceneries, clothes, make-up, cars, hairstyles, everything you can think about is a product placement. Why do you think protagonist always drive a different car? Why do they always go to the same restaurant? Why do they always eat? If you have been to Namdaemun you will know that everything they sell for tourists has been in a drama. What is Korea known for in Asia: clothes, make-up and electronics (+ handsome men lol).

If you have talked to Kdrama fans what do they talk about: I want to taste that food, I wish I had that jacket, I want that phone, I want that soft toy (pigrabbit in You are Beautiful or piggy in Kim Sam Soon), I want to go to that place (palace, Jejudo, temple)

This kind of pisses me off. I mean, a new hairstyle in a popular drama BAM everyone has the same hairstyle, esp. applies to guys.
There are no well done product placements in any drama, all of them are bad because all of them make me conscious of product placements. Japanese dramas do it too but for some reason I don't have time to think "hey, isn't that a product placement" same with American dramas. Koreans should learn.

There is this other movie, darn I forgot the name but it's a funny gangster film. I remember I laughed so much when I saw the scene when one of the characters is having some major diarrhea moment and he makes it to the bathroom BUT while sitting down he accidentally pushes the lid close with his butt and, well it's pretty disgusting but the moment was just so funny xD

When talking about toilet I am always reminded of Super Rookie because everything major always happened in toilets. Like some people gossiping about something and then there was always someone listening in a toilet cubicle, that's how all the major rumors spread xD

And of course Kim Sam Soon! There are plenty of toilet moments there.

And music video: Wonder Girls Nobody Nobody but you.

I'd definitely leave Siwon out of this list, because the whole story was about her maturing and growing up, she…
Me too! I agree about Siwon but the others... yeah.

As for the upcoming dramas/movies I don't think I'll watch any of these. I'm not really into detective stuff but everything seems to be related to secret agents and undercover cops. (New trends after Level 7 civil servant?)

The rest doesn't sound interesting at all, except The Huntress, seemed like a fun movie. And well, High Heels is a creative idea and I will be sure to check it out but it just seems kinda weird xD Cha Seung Won as a woman, that's just wrong, hahaha!

The only thing I am actually really looking forward is Lee Jun Ki in Age of Feeling but nothing is final yet. In fact, Lee Jun Ki in anything would be great.

I don't really like Hong Sister's dramas because every single one just dies midway and the second half is just plain boring. I guess Hong Gil Dong and The Greatest Love were okay, though. I've seen all of their dramas because you know, you can't be really a Kdrama addict without watching their shows.

But anyway, I am not exactly happy for So Ji Sub to participate in drama project with them... especially when all of his dramas have been pretty outstanding (in a serious way). And it's a bit hard to imagine him in romantic comedy Hong Sister style. I find their drama characters extremely childish and one dimensional, I feel like So Ji Sub is way too good for them!

I'm okay with So Ji Sub acting comedy though because he is a great actor and We are Dating was kind of comedy, anyway.

This is just my opinion though, majority of people seems to adore Hong Sisters. My favorite writer is Lee Kyung Hee (sorry I love you, Nice Guy, Thank you, Sang Doo, Let's Go To School, Breathless, A Love to Kill). That's how I even found So Ji Sub in the first place xD

After 2 episodes of When a Man Loves I was convinced the show would be one of the worst dramas. Wouldn't recommend that crap to anyone, I mean anyone. And it's not only Shin Se Kyung but also the plot which makes no sense... and reminds me awfully of Fashion King, just Fashion King was better...

Heh, I actually liked The Fashion King it remained me a lot of What Happened in Bali which was another awesome…
You know, when I watched WHIB I hated it, I hated every second of it but I still kept watching because some years ago I was keen on finishing every single drama I started, thank god I am over that. But anyway, then I read some awesome deep comments about WHIB on d-addicts forum and I started seeing the drama in different light. I still hated it while watching but after I finished I was totally convinced it was awesome and I was happy I actually finished watching it.

With Fashion King it was different. I was remained of WHIB in the beginning already so I started interpreting everything as deeply as I could. I actually remember watching like 10 episodes in one night or something, I couldn't stop watching xD It's just that I think the lead actress was awful.
