I think people missed some points on previous episode and also the last episode. First, on episode 11 when they went for a drink she saw his future self. He was "older" then. Hence she said he was aging well. Which means he didnt die. That moment havent happen to him, so that should be a clear indication that they'll be together in the future. Second was from the last episode, the mom dreamt of him coming back that day. That's why she happily asked for another set of plate/cutlery for him. She wasn't specific on who they are for, but that was going to be the surprise for everybody! As for the son bringing things that were lost in the past, the lost ball was on his hand. Meaning whatever he brings back stays at the present time. BGJ didnt die, he was just lost since his power evolved. I would like to believe that their son can bring back lost things/person that actually still exist and not the ones thats doesnt.
We can all interpret the ending as we want too, that's subjective. But all in all, it really was a happy ending IMO. You just have to look at all the events that happened and piece it all together. I get it, I would have wanted to at least watch a few minutes of the leads being happy together with all the family. But this not your typical romantic drama. The whole story itself showed that, and that's why I love it. Best drama of 2024 so far for me! 🤍🤍🤍

I get that there's a lot of kdrama that shows at least a few minutes of the leads being happy together, but this is not that drama. I mean, the whole drama itself is not the cutesy and fluffy kind. So as much as I also wanted that few minutes of them cuddling, I have to remember this show is different. And I love it for that! Best drama of 2024 💜💜
Why did DH ask her son to first go back 5 years, then 18?Didn’t GJ save her 13 years ago? Unless the tears clouded…
Their son is 5 so you'll have to add 13 for the time that first fire happened. So it's 18 years then when the he saved her from the fire. At first she was thinking of the fire at the dance competition (which was 5 yrs ago), but then she remembered that he was lost at the fire from where he save her (which was 18 yrs ago).
Totally agree. I feel I am nitpicking because it is now a top 5 favorite of mine but I can't help but wish she…
I know! It was one of the top 2 shows Im currently watching that I really liked. I was just hoping for a better ending for the old Tae Ha, since he deserved so much better. I thought she would have showed him a little more care and love at the picnic too. Since the doctor already told her, that he doesn’t have much time left. But alas, he died knowing he’s not the one she loves 💔 😭 Then in the future, it was essentially him that she loves anyway 😅🫣
OMG same here I cried at how much he l (old TH) loved her too, and had my own happy ending at the middle of episode,…
I know I shouldn’t complain 😭 because they did have a happy ending, right. But why did she not treat both Tae Ha as the same person. Wish she did, because they are the same to me 😆
I wish they went with a different route with the ending. It wasn't bad, because it did had a happy ending. But it was bittersweet for me. Bawled my eyes out for the old Joseon Tae Ha.
When FL went back to old Joseon, she was cold to him and treated him differently. Which I guess because she thought of him as a completely different person as the new TH. Even though technically they were the same person. I also always thought he was reincarnated as the new TH. I really wish they played it as he was the same person she loved. What’s the point of showing us that the old TH loved and cared for her so much since they were young, just for her to not care about him as much. They could have made it as he was an extension of the new TH. Like their love story started since the old Joseon and just continued to the new Joseon. Because even on the old TH’s diary, he said that if he was ever reborn, he wished to be the TH she loves. Like, it was him too right!?!? He even told her about his dream, that he was in an unfamiliar place, waiting for someone that was not coming (which was her) Wasn't that an indication to her that he and the new TH are the same person! Also, even at the earlier episodes, it already was pointed that the new TH knew about his past life. They are the same person!!! I’m rumbling now, I just felt so bad for old TH. Even to his death, he was just hoping for her to love him back. Done with my rant .
Also, I wish she came back to the future the same way she came there the first time. It took a few days for her to come back, and not as exciting as she first time she did. She should’ve emerge from the water while he was there waiting for her, then bam they hug it out (lol!) Would have liked to see a few minutes of her finally seeing everyone again from the new Joseon as well.
All in all, I do like the story. Just wish they gave old Joseon Tae Ha some love. 💜
I feel like thats the same with Bai Lu and Luo Yunxi. That's why they had 2 dramas together. So they really should…
Exactly! That’s why I think it’ll be a shame if someone let that great chemistry go to waste. They clearly are both great at what they do, and the success of the series exhibits that. We can all just hope and wait for more projects of them together! 💜
Their chemistry is no joke! They work so well together. Someone better capitalized on that and give them at least another drama or two as main lead ASAP 😆 Seriously though! 💜
Thank you, it’s been great! I wouldn’t have known about the deleted parts if it weren’t for MDL 🥰 At least I can enjoy the whole story even though it had to be pieced together with deleted scenes 😆
