I get really emotional with Bom and Mi Suk storyline because I was around that age or a little younger when the asian financial crisis happened and even though I lived far away, the ripple effect caused my dad to be unemployed. When I was a kid I was really happy to be around my dad so much but now as an adult looking back I can see how depressed he was at the time and how hard he tried to make it seem like everything is fine, same with my mom who had to take three jobs. Nostalgia is one hell of a drug cause we think fondly of the 90s but there were dark times back then too.

I do not like when netflix releases all episodes at once.

I fell for Taehyung already, he's falling and is so caring for FL. I need her to show some feelings too, rn it feels more like she's still in love with her boss.

I will forever hold this drama dear in my heart for getting me through a rather dark time in my life. It was so lovely and cozy, it truly did make me feel better. 100% recommend if you want a good time

I think it depends on the rumour and the size of the town. I do think a teacher having an affair with a married parent would be scandalous in any school, especially with the slap in front of anyone. I grew up in a not so small town in latin america and believe me rumours were everywhere, we have a saying "pueblo chico, infierno grande" which translates to "small town, big hell", and rumours going around could ruin someone's reputation and social life. Now when I went to university in a much bigger city, we all knew which professors were having affairs with students and no one in the faculty even batted an eye, now in the hospitals were people were sleeping around with superiors. Now I live in a capital and I couldn't care less about what any of my neighbours do but I sure as hell gossip with my coworkers, as much as I make a big effort to change that about myself.

For what was shown she either has bipolar dissorder or TLP, and it is a stigma that they go "crazy" and can murder people on a whim. On the other hand it is much more common for man to commit feminicide as a "crazy ex" than women so, I stand by my point.

That does not mean this is a bad drama and once again I praise the actress causee Hee Jin truly did an amazing job (and everyone involved TBH Kim Jae Yeong was fenomenal in the scene he finds out).

I enjoy this drama so much whenever I watch it but it being in prime video is ruining for me, such a bad platform and I'm so behind cause I keep forgetting to check for the new eps

I don't like to compare but Typhoon Family did such a great job in the production department I was hoping for the same level here

Choi Hee Jin is such a great actrees, got me feeling sorry for Hye-Joo for a split second and made the most over a very tired trope and once again bad representation of metal health issues.

I guess Golden Boys wanted to honor Woo-Seong releasing the songs he composed but damn that comeback was fast.

There were two minor production details that broke my suspension of disbelief with the 97 setting: A t-shirt that clearly said est. in a date after 2000, even when they slapped a patch on one of the numbers, and red lights under the mouse, I was a child back then but I clearly remember they used to have a little ball underneath to make them roll.

But on the drama itself, I'm loving the focus on female friendship <3 I'm a Nora stan lmao
