We already knew right from the start that this drama isn't going to be linear? So everybody expects the flashbacks to happen continuously so we can understand their past better..I see no problem with that.
Down rated my 9.5 rating to 8.5 after today's disaster of episodes 24-25.
Why rate it now when it's not even completed ? I understand it's subjective but ppl usually give their rating after completing the drama entirely..not on ep alone..

You just said it.."She chose to run away the very second she felt danger" that's an automatic response based on the psychological factor and trauma response she's accumulated in the past. For this reason alone, you can more or less understand that bcuz of this very "danger" she felt and bcuz she loves Sang yan..it is to the point of wanting to protect him from that danger which could potentially harm him. Who wants their loved one to be in danger? No one. She already felt bad enough in EP 1 when he got hurt taking on 3 guys alone..so imagine why she decided to do this when faced with a much bigger threat..? Yifan is different, we cannot think of her in a normal mindset bcuz of her circumstances. When you love someone so deeply and cherish them to the core, sometimes ppl do things that others cannot comprehend unless they've been in their shoes. Wen yifan is a fictional character through and through, and we can only understand her actions based on her train of thoughts, personality and circumstances.
Anyone who had watched both chinese and korean version? Which one is better acting wise/storytelling/production?
You def need to watch both!! There are changes you'll find that are quite insightful..the drama version is more elaborate and complex bcuz it's set to have a season 2 with its open ending. The movie version was very precise and compact in delivering the story (also less scary imo). Overall, they're both very unique and worth the watch.
I completed this series just recently, and even went on to read the manhwa. For anyone who's curious about both versions, I have touched on some differences like what they excluded in the drama and why I liked the drama version better.
