Yes...I figured they let us use our imagination with WZ since we knew he did research and bunch of evil experiments..and I'm still sad about how LL can no longer return but at least he came back in full swing and redeemed himself and fought alongside with them.
ZYZ+ZYC indeed have their fate deeply connected...and yes they did show us they were soulmates, you worded it perfectly. I completely forgot about Ao Yin being captured in early eps....but yes it's true he was somewhat linked to these demons through LL but they weren't possessed by him tho...but I'm still surprised he managed to not only replicate their powers but made it different in a way too like in the Dream of Indulgence, if they die in it they die in real life too..

Also about the fruit that Bai Jiu was suppose to use to help in the plague, which was to kill your sense of smell...how did it turn out that this was to become an inner core to help demonize the humans?? how did WZ use Bai Jiu in that sense? Wouldn't he have to actually do something to that fruit to make it turn into an inner core?..or maybe bcuz they were already infected..that fruit was the last ingredient to trigger their transformation into demonized humans?

1. WZ did a bunch of experiment but how did he managed to copy the powers of the deceased demons? like Ran Yi's dream to Dream of Indulgence, Ao Yin's transformation power, Fei's plague and so on. These ppl died we all saw that and they never got captured by chongwu camp either...so there was no chance of experimenting and taking their blood?? and how did Fei come back? Everyone saw him destroy his inner core, and turn to dust...meaning he died..😭 How was he imprisoned in Chongwu camp? Qing Geng I feel your pain, it's him but not actually him😭

2. I absolutely love LL's entrance to save his bff, ZYZ. That was epic! We all were kinda expecting him tbh and he rly redeemed himself 😭no one can ever rly hate him.. I'm surprised he managed to materialize into his human form so fast tho...he was supposed to cultivate at least 100 yrs to be able to take human form? Did they forget that detail? Anyways not complaining...but maybe he rly sensed ZYZ was in danger and gathered his last remaining strength to help him and ZYC out 😭😭

3. Not rly a complain...but I found this so funny how the last shred of ZYZ soul was srsly in WX's hands in that oath letter that he previously gave her 😭🤣 my poor ZYC was searching across the two realms for him only for that letter to float his way back to him lmaooo 🤣 And to top it off, WX's golden eyes baize power couldn't even detect his presence but they made ZYC know about it lol I guess it's to tell him time to go home and stop searching lmao😭🤣 I'm starting to believe ZYZ and ZYC are the true soulmates at this point lol even in his last dying breath, ZYZ was looking at ZYC with tears and smile while being in WX's arms lol...like ok no kiss scene for our WX/ZYZ but last intimate and sorrowful gaze was with ZYC...no complains tho😭🤧

Are we done crying yet? Cuz I'm not 😭😭 Ep 30-34 got even more emotional for me😭 the last time I was this emotionally wrecked was when I watched TTEOM and FOF was just this bad with so much angst, pain, grief, death and sadness😭😭😭 GJM...WHO HURT YOU..not a damn single couple? how could you... 😭
