I am finding that a lot of the dialogues can be mistranslated and not totally exact to what they're saying in korean...idk why they do that like I'd understand the exact meaning in what they're saying in korean then read the translation I'm like wth..It's not accurate but contains a close enough meaning.
So in that case, I'm thinking they prob translated it to Eng without rly understanding the context in korean. As you said Bongseok is kind and reliable and she def knows that so I doubt she'd described him in such a lame way...Tbh I think by "inflexible" she prob meant strong-headed/stubborn meaning he doesn't back down and always does what he thinks. Therefore being "inflexible" like for example: the scene when he asked if Huisoo was cold and she said I'm rly fine but then he still wanted to give her his jacket and in the end he gave her his portable charger as it could warm her hands.
And "boring" lol well I think she might be right about that even tho it might not be a positive connotation haha He pretty much follows her around and listens to his mom; texting, calling her back & picking up the phone if there's a call. But if there's a positive meaning behind it I'd just say she prob meant simple-minded guy who's positive, bubbly, enthusiastic and enjoys eating lol Sorry that was kinda long but that was my interpretation I didn't rly think much about it when I watched that scene until you asked.

Yes it was orchestrated by him. He rly has his own agenda/motive since he was the one who brought up the NDPT project high school to the director Mr Min. I was so mad when I saw him watch from his car. So conveniently too like what better timing it was, this was no coincidence. I hope he gets his a** kicked in the end for his wrongdoings.

Strong symbolism be packing as well!
The symbolisms in the drama were so relevant to each character too!! Every scene has a meaning not one thing is useless in a scene. For instance, the 2 bullet scars on Juwon's arm are so symbolic. They represent the 2 people (The commander & DooShik) who showed him real kindness during his mission on the field when everyone else thought of him as a monster.

Truly portrayed caliber acting where you feel each and every emotions! This series is unbelievably amazing and I binged watched it completely.. now waiting for the next eps is pure torture.
question please, the drama will end with episode 20 or it will have another season?
Well I'm hoping it will as so many questions/mysteries are still unanswered and I doubt it'll all be covered in the last 5 eps. Since that will prob be focused on the parents/kids working towards eliminating the enemy.
Watched till episode 4 now and this is high quality amazing, the story is engaging, action scenes are done so…
I'm hoping for the parents to all come together to work towards eliminating any threat/enemy. But yes it rly is beautiful to watch and waiting for the next eps are pure torture...lol

Some people theorized that kid might be Bang Kisoo LOL we prob don't know as the story has yet to be completed haha Bang Kisoo def has powers too we don't know what though as it hasn't been revealed. We know bcuz the gym teacher wrote "Rank C, unqualified" and he also had to do that PE test (obviously masked to test future agents' physical ability)

Indeed he rly is an elite black ops agent as they said. He even knew that he'd have to shoot her someday to show everyone he was indeed betrayed by her so that their relationship wasn't close enough anymore to the director. And bcuz of that she was now left alone and managed to live a peaceful life. Just mindblowing wow

Does Dooshik have some precognitive ability where he can know/sense things would happen this way or is he just a great mentalist and can read people's next move? Did he know he would shoot Mihyun someday? Cuz how else would he have asked Juwon for a favor way beforehand and said "do what we always do" . Then showing Juwon noticed that Dooshik shot a bullet on paper arm during the target shooting practice inferring to Juwon to use his exact arm to protect Mihyun when this happens. And Juwon got the signal of when to do it when he received the knife from Mihyun. So at this point I'm just thinking Dooshik is just a rly good mentalist and great strategist in knowing people's next move more specifically what the director Min would do when he gets captured??
I would think Frank isn't dead. Didn't seem enough damage to keep him from healing. His story seems incomplete…
Yea I also thought that little fire and explosion couldn't be enough to rly end him...maybe they left it in the open so the director could bring him back (season 2?) or not but that still gave the viewers the feeling of him dead but could he rly be? Plus the metal piece was only stabbed on his throat not head...so that could be a possibility he remained alive and managed to heal. He only acts out when given orders too...
The fighting scene in the sewer is so intense I could barely watch it
I was having more of a hard time watching Juwon's fighting scenes with 100 gang members stabbing him incessantly...and the trucks sandwiching him..sigh that was brutal

Bcuz it's a drama I won't rule out any possibilities anymore. They can very well incorporate bits of childhood memories/flashback to give viewers more info about the characters' powers. They did that with Juwon's claustrophobic root cause with a little flashback of him being in the sea and seeing giant sun fish (not the actual scene of gang killing him we saw more details there of him seeing a whale), then he woke up abruptly. Then we'll be able to deduce that it rly is in the family or something else could've triggered/awakened the parents' powers or something. But yes season 2 is absolutely needed at this point and we're all rooting for one.

Ikr LOL it's so funny and I'm also glad Frank didn't end him back then my anxiety went thru the roof when I saw him chased that guy down with his bus.... cuz Frank kept asking about the agents' children made me think he had to end them too... But in regards to Bongeyman I think it's cuz he wasn't qualified...I remember during his PE test (obviously masked as testing future agents' fitness ability) he wasn't competent enough..and didn't manage to get passing score...LOL so that saved him I guess from "that" kinda life..and the gym teacher always had to write "qualified, S+ rank" or "unqualified, C rank" and stuff....
With Naju that's what I'm also wondering too we don't know much about her and we don't know if she also went to the same high school as the others. My theory is that the mum told the daughter the truth. We know she has powers too as viewers & your theory of dominant genes. So mum prob told her to make sure to always hide her powers to not attract attention or people coming after her to exploit her ability. We know she's also alive too cuz we saw a glimpse of her at her mum's funeral but the adoptive kid told Frank she had passed on. We also saw she overheard what Frank was asking so we can assume that theory could be true too. She was wary of Frank. So Naju prob made sure her daughter's existence was erased to let her live her life freely bcuz she knew the govt. would also track her daughter down somehow or maybe they did too but bcuz she hid her powers they deemed her unfit to become "agent" like Bongeyman lol So I'm hoping we'll find out more and season 2 will unravel more of the mysteries/questions we have.

And the keepsakes he holds dear from both of his comrades and wearing the boots and always having the pocket knife with him are such precious memories he'll never forget. Their existence to him are irreplaceable. He's truly so pure of heart and loyal to the end. His story rly brought me to tears from him getting betrayed, chased, stabbed, always enduring the pain, to him falling in love which made me smile but then cried again when he lost his only rock and love of his life. Damn it ...😩 Finding out his wife accident was orchestrated just broke my heart in this week's eps. I hope that sniffle guy gets his retribution in the end.
