The leads were so precious. I adored their awkward interactions, it was so cute. Very rarely have I watched a…
That very last scene after the end credit song hints for a continuation. Let's pray that it'll happen. If you ask me, the source material of the story should be enough to warrant at least a sequel (or even a trilogy).
I watched As Long As We Both Shall Live after Trillion Game and they really wowed me. The range Ren and Mio have…
I had only seen a clip of hers in Tokyo Revengers before this. Was never really interested to watch that movie then because the story is not something I'm into (y'know, the fights, gangsterim etc π but I had finally watched it this year out of curiosity for Imada's actingβΊοΈ)
Only after discovering her in MHM, that I realised she had played diverse roles in her previous works. I really like this one Japanese CM in which she played the dual roles of a traditional woman vs a modern working woman. I'm a fan now.

Yup, it was crazy enough for me, I had to watch the first episode twice π It took me some time to wrap my head around the fact that those two playing Haru and Kirika were the same actors for Kiyoka and Miyo even though I had seen the trailer / promo pix before I started watching TG. So I could understand when I read comments from some viewers who were quite taken aback when they found that out. There's someone on YouTube who even accused Imada of doing some sort of surgery / facelift between those two jobs, simply because he/she said Imada looked too different! I was like, had he/she never heard of drama makeup etc ? Thankfully that person shut up after a few exchanges π
The top reason why I started watching Trillion Game was because I love Ren and Mio in 'As Long As We Both Shall Live' (I rarely watch K/C/Jdramas) and I was really curious if their chemistry there was just a fluke. I kinda expected beforehand that they wouldn't have many scenes together since she was billed as support character and 'Trillion Game' is really the story of Haru and Gaku. Suffice to say, I was in awe with their 'hot' chemistry here as opposed to their 'gentle' one in 'As Long As We Both Shall Live'. They are my OTP now and I seriously wish for both the sequel to ALAWBSL and Season 2 of TG.
It's a completely different story compared to As Long As We Both Shall Live. For one, it's a modern day drama and there's hardly any romance. It focuses on business + friendship + rivalry. But I do love seeing their acting range there. Personally I'd give it 9/10
Okay, I'm officially obsessed with this movie and the male lead. We've been counting all the 'green flags' in…
The male lead is also a singer and his group sing the end credit song for this movie (song title Tapestry). He sings the first two lines and a few more throughout the song.
Why Kudo Kiyoka hair is grey ?? Is it related to powers or just a look for him
It's described in the light novel (the original work) that he has long ash blond hair. It's not taken from the anime as the movie actually came out before the anime.
Just watched it too and it seemed like she used her dream powers somehow but they don't really explain it. All…
I think you are right. She has powers over the gifted.
I was thinking about her conversation with her grandfather when he said that "Our duty is to stop the gifted people from going berserk. The Usuba's gift is to defeat other gifted people."
The grandfather also said that, as a Dream Weaver, she can manipulate their dreams and brainwash them. Only here, I'm wondering if 'manipulate their dreams' also refers to their minds too ?
I sure hope there's going to be at least a sequel and we'd get to see more of Miyo's power. I feel that the materials in the novel are enough to warrant a trilogy.

The Usubas could not see the grotesqueries but they had the power to manipulate others' mind (re: what Arata told Kiyoka when he went to Kiyoka's HQ ?)
My understanding is - the soldiers didn't know what to do to defeat the grotesqueries / insects thing (re: the scene when Kiyoka and his men went to check on the infected people ?).
It's Miyo, being the Dream Weaver that she was, who had the power to infiltrate their minds and tell them what to do, which is to 'cut' the infected people / soldiers.
I didn't expect Meguro Ren and Imida Mio to meet again here after the film My Happy Marriage. Mio here is very…
Yes! Good to see that she's getting more recognition.
I first knew her from Tokyo Revengers and really love her portrayal as Miyo Saimori in My Happy Marriage. She surprised me in Trillion Game. When it was first rumoured that she's joining the cast, I fleetingly thought she was going to play Rinrin.
Kinda hard to explain without spoiling it ;-) Let's just say that their roles are really different compared to…
The two main characters are the two guys Haru (Meguro) and Gaku (Sano). Imada plays Kirika, a support character. They are rivals here but their chemistry is still awesome.
