Thoughts on the ending? The last arc felt much weaker than the rest of the show, such a strange way to end an otherwise good show.

Also, the Xue big sister looks more like the dad's wife than his daughter lol, poor casting choice.

Yunshu is really smug and annoying in episode 26 hahahah, I felt like slapping her face.

Also waiting to see when Yan becomes a villain (if he really becomes one)... he's still trying to help RSB for now, although she doesn't want his help.

Although I find it quite unbelievable that Bai scholar who used to be a "good" person, suddenly just becomes "bad" and starts plotting the downfall of the Rong family in one day.

Bracelet belongs to Mdm Yang, who takes care of Rong sixth sister. Mdm Yang is taken in and hidden by Rong Shanbao as she is a key witness / person in the missing wife case that Lu Jiang Lai was investigating when he went to Rong family at the start.

1. Got second sis' man to abduct their daughter
2. Blackmail second sis to remove the guards from Rong family tea tree
3. Burned the Rong family tea tree that wasn't guarded

With the Rong family tea tree burned, the Rong family will get in trouble if they can't give the tribute for the empress (or dowager??).

Reason is because fifth sis arranged for Bai scholar to be killed, so he wants to take revenge on her and Rong family.

Yea agree, feels like this whole second season was rushed. It's a bit unbelievable that their planning etc to defeat Prince Ning went so smoothly in like 1-2 episodes after the whole entire show was setting him up as this big villain. I'd prefer if there was better story pacing between Flourished Peony and In the Name of Blossom.

Also... a bit of a leap of imagination that the Emperor is so defenceless against Prince Ning but I guess we just have to accept that Prince Ning has a lot of support...

Yea! I don't think he was killed, are you referring to the guy that JCY stabbed? That's Pei Zhong, Prince Ning's man that abused and beat Lian Zhou (JCY's previous concubine) to death.

Lol that was episode 15 or 16 and he was still trying to push her away because he didn't want her to be in danger since he was going to be in danger / risk his life for his plans with the emperor.

I don't think so, I think he was just one of the scholars. He should be the one that first appeared with the teacher in episode 18, saying that he had already tried 9 times for the exams but didn't manage to rank (I think because it used to be corrupt / rigged) and he was going to do his best to rank in the exams this time round.
