I watched the 2007 and 2020 version. It's a fairy tale so please keep an open mind. Just enjoy watching if you like a fairy tale romance. Don't ask why the citizens don't know the face of their rulers (king, queen, prince,princess) Don't ask why they never thought about the best solution for the region. Don't ask why only one country has a strategy regarding security, monetary and such. Don't ask why ........... 555. If you like funny and light with a king who acts like a love sick puppy,watch the 2007 version. Love Weir and Kwan's vibe. If you like serious and mature go for the 2020 version.

He confessed his feelings in eps 8. But could not accept it because of the promise he made to his wife. He was a totally confused train wreck. Lol.
