OMG I just can’t with TD’s 2nd wish 😳🥰🫢 I get so shy watching them together, especially their expressive eyes are full of love. Their love is sugary sweet & the chemistry is chemistrying! 10/10

I think when he dropped that whiskey glass in ep 10…it symbolized Tada’s death…then the time reset.

Does WS & WZ have their own book/story? I finished reading the novel and sensed some romantic undertones between these two…Both in the series & novel, WZ seems to secretly like WS who hasn’t realized it yet…I need some confirmation or closure if there are more to their story.

Ep 15 - ML finally divorced his 3 other wives
Ep 19 - FL fell off the cliff…ML discovered about her poison & past
Ep 20-23 = Amnesia parts…I don’t think the amnesia part is annoying…it’s actually pretty quick since they are focusing more on investigating other things
Ep 29 - Jiang siblings reunion
Ep 31 - FL finally confessed her feeling
Ep 33 - MWY died & Meng’s family fell
Ep 34 - ML’s identity revealed & cleared his family’s name
Ep 36 - A bit rushed but HE…The 4th prince & ML’s sister and FL & ML survived 😊

Contrary to many comments, I actually like this drama…The chemistry is good & Liu Xueyi’s acting never disappoint! Also, I even like the 2nd half that most ppl complained about 😂 Yes, the 2nd half is a bit cliche, but I love a dedicated & simp ML. So if you’re hesitating, you should just watch a few eps and judge by yourself since everyone has different preferences.

Some spoilers below:

The kissing was a “dare” while they were drunk…It doesn’t really justify it but it’s in the range of what CC & GCY would do while drunk. The series kinda briefly mentioned it when WS told them in ep 16 “dare you to kiss” and they did.

GCY briefly mentioned that CC & WS were fighting a lot in their 3rd year so CC was out drinking with GCY a lot. CC would just call out GCY name as a habit since they were drunk together and there was only GCY there so who else would CC call.

I agree with you…Unfortunately, we’ll have to be patient and wait until next week for their reconciliation. Wei Wei better confess his feeling and they need to communicate better. But Wei Wei is kinda like many ppl irl who always say the opposite of what they actually think…The drama lol

Given the pacing, they will likely reconcile in ep 20

I know right…the big break-up will be coming in ep 18. Given its current pace, his mom will probably pass away in ep 19. Then they will probably reconcile at the end of ep 19 or the reconciliation may occur in ep 20 if his mom passed away towards the end of ep 19.

So for sure the big comfort will be next week…Not sure if I will be able to hold off and binge ep 18-20 all together next Tuesday….this is pure torture! lol

It’s Happy Ending! You can watch with a peace of mind…All 3 CPs (Yan Chi & Shen Wan…Bai Feng & Fu Ling…Yan Li & Yue Ning) are alive and happy together 🥰

In the US, today is Juneteenth…Freedom Day! Such a perfect day for an awesome finale.
- We are finally free from 3 years of waiting for this series
- Pei Su is also free from all those pains & traumas…He can go home with his hubby 😊 (Well…LWZ may want to lock his beloved monster up for all the traumas that PS put him through 😂…Of course, our PS would love it…like he said: The monsters have all been cleared. I'm the last one…Can you lock me up in your home…)

JITD indeed…Justice is finally served and we get a perfect Happy Ending with our CP enjoying their time together ❤️ Still can’t believe my eyes that we actually got a piggyback ride scene…And yes LWZ just ignored his dad with an iconic eye roll…His dad had that coming though lol

PS & LWZ will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you to all the casts & crews, especially Zhang Xincheng & Fu Xinbo for their amazing acting & bringing the characters to life!

Also just realized when PS was folding the parking ticket into a boat in Ep1, LWZ’s name in the novel Luo Wen Zhou (Zhou means boat). Awwww my heart…

We better get a Happy Ending next week after all that my 2 babies went through…LWZ & PS deserved their happily ever after!

I literally cried when Pei Su covered his eyes, thinking he wont get to see LWZ again 😭 My baby…He just missed LWZ too much…It was LWZ who covered his eyes when they first met and when he tried to calm PS down in Ep26 😭

I’m a little sad that I didn’t get to hear one of my favorite line in Ep28 but that smile said it all…Fu Xinbo & Zhang Xincheng are both phenomenal actors that made this series super addictive (even though some lovling lines were cut). Their acting, micro-expressions and the way they look at each other…Their expressive eyes had me crying, especially when LWZ was trying to hold back his tears after being so worried for PS’s safety.

Hands down my favorite censored BL adaption for modern time!

I’m not so sure but I think it’s LWZ’s police badge that he left in the office and PS’ reply kinda hinted back to ep 14 when LWZ threw away his police badge and he had to pick the lock to retrieve it back.
