I literally cried when Pei Su covered his eyes, thinking he wont get to see LWZ again 😭 My baby…He just missed LWZ too much…It was LWZ who covered his eyes when they first met and when he tried to calm PS down in Ep26 😭
I’m a little sad that I didn’t get to hear one of my favorite line in Ep28 but that smile said it all…Fu Xinbo & Zhang Xincheng are both phenomenal actors that made this series super addictive (even though some lovling lines were cut). Their acting, micro-expressions and the way they look at each other…Their expressive eyes had me crying, especially when LWZ was trying to hold back his tears after being so worried for PS’s safety.

LWZ is just sulking and still upset that PS didn’t tell him (or their team) of his plan to use himself as bait to lure out FSY. The man was so scared that he might lose the love of his life so he has every right to sulk & pretend to give him the cold shoulder so PS wouldn’t dare do it again…But we all know he won’t last long against PS lol
I’ve been holding out for all the eps to air so now I can start binging. The first 6 eps are so good…The chemistry is sizzling lol Oh god…I’m definitely gonna lose my sleep tonight!

It could have been much better if the logic/plot make more sense and the leads have more lovely time together without the annoying SML. The SML totally got on my nerve especially when the leads got together and he still acted as the third wheel…Thank god he was less annoying after 25 eps 🙄

In the novel, one officer in their team (Xiao Wu) didn’t make it to the end…I was so mad at the killer too (it’s kinda foreshadow in ep 17)…The main leads and the other officers survive and had their closure/HE.

For short dramas this year, I really recommend Money is Coming (Wang Xing Wei is also in that one with a good bromance) and the other one is Grab Your Love (also good 🔥 chemistry)

No, they are about 7 years apart. 7 years ago when they first met, Pei Su was 14 (about to turn 15)…so in ep 1, Pei Su was 21 and he turned 22 in ep 8. LWZ was approx. 22 year-old then and now he should be around 29.
