Both shows are dark and serious with a good mixture of mystery, investigation, thriller and romance. They kept you guessing on who was the actual murderer and how these people are related to each other. Both have strong ML & FL who eventually overcame their tragic past.

- MLs are lawyer and seem cold at first
- Same actor for SML who is loyal, funny and charming
- Slow burn romance before they get together

Differences:
- ML in YAMFL is so much gentler and he has been in love with FL for 10+ yrs

Both dramas are similar because:
- ML and FL are general/royalty of enemy kingdom
- Both leads are strong & good at fighting
- Both are historical romance with power struggle

The main differences are:
- Shadow Love focused on more romance between the leads (basically the first 20 eps are about the leads’ relationship.
- Shadow Love had some fantasy elements (super strength, etc.)

- FIL is more of a thriller romance & its story focuses more on military backdrop vs. GYL is more light-hearted & their relationship is more cute & funny

- Provoke is more of a thriller romance & its story focus more on revenge vs. GYL has a lighter tone & their relationship is more cute & funny…very light-hearted which will make you smile & squeal lol

Both dramas have investigation & crime genre and good action scenes. The chemistry of both leads are off the chart…One of the leads is a cop. They are both censored BL with serious tone. Really worth watching!

- Both FLs can change face/appearance and the MLs won’t recognize her at first then eventually became suspicious
- MLs have some problems with their eyes
- Cute side couples in addition to the cute main cp…Great chemistry & acting

Differences:
- FYH is a historical drama with a little bit more serious tone (still quite light & funny for a historical drama)
- ML in FYH can definitely fight compared to our poor Tang Qi lol (Oh well! FL in Filter can do the fighting instead)

Similarities:
- Cold MLs who hold govt positions/have some power…Both are smart and can fight/protect their loved ones
- Enemies to Lovers
- Both have good acting and chemistry
- There are some detective cases that will shed lights on the leads’ past

Differences:
- UTP is a long drama vs DAHC is much shorter (doesn’t drag)
- FL in UTP is more skilled

- Both have detective work and romance
- Cold MLs who are smart and can fight/protect the FLs
- Both FLs have some skills, but the FL in IC is superb in determining the causes of death and symptoms
