no it was not perfect. You need to be respectful of other peoples relationship even if it is toxic. Nothing excuses cheating. Two wrongs do not make a right

whatever the SO was doing to your friend, you need to be respectful of the relationship and not try to woo them because if you end up "swaying" them that would make the your friend a cheater.

Even if the SO was beating the shit out of them, your friend should not cheat. Break it off with the SO and THEN fall for someone else

i don't think she did. I think she actually wanted to stoke LX's jealousy and for him to act urgently thats why she said ZY was getting married. If she wanted LX to distance himself she could have said ZY was already married

ultimately whether LX suffered or not should not be relevant, normally i hate noble idiocy but in this case it was the "right" thing to do, ultimately it backfired though as she did suffer alot. But it should always be the intention that counts
