I stopped at Episode 10 or was it 9 (the one where the guy was being innocently ignorant) because I just can't take what he's doing. :( :( :( I'm experiencing second-hand embarrassment. I need courage to finish this drama!!!

My heart! <3 I so love Yamada Takayuki's face, acting, roles, movies and everything! :) :)
Yes!! I'm a Filipino! :) Sorry for responding late. Hahaha! I think I accidentally turned off something in my notifications' settings. :)

I agree with some of the people that says that this drama does not stand out or shine, maybe because of the plot but watching the whole thing made me feel what the drama is supposed to make the viewers feel - youthful; that being young doesn't revolve around the surface level of pursuing a dream or doing one's best but it involves a lot of physical, emotional and mental hardships and strengthened relationships. The drama was literally noisy (yes, with all the shouting just to make a point haha) but it somehow gave me peace of mind and heart. <3 <3 <3

And THE cast. Just woah! (although I don't know the fourth and fifth sibling yet). :)

The theme of the drama (service to country) is what got me hooked. I agree that the ending was somehow an overkill, but for the most part, I enjoyed the plot. :)

More than the acting, I think it's the chemistry between the main characters is what made people fall in love with the dramaa. Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo were both very charming and it made my heart flutter every time I watch their funny-romantic scenes. <3 <3

I think it's Song Joong Ki that's overhyped not the drama. >____<

Your article gives me hope. Thank youuu! ^___^ "Don't be Absent from the Board Too Long" ---> I've done this a dozen times in different boards and I am so sad leaving the bonds I've created behind. >___< I'm on my way to recovering (again), thus this activeness in commenting. :)

I love your list! I am a sucker of Japanese films in the music genre. <3 <3 <3 It is in Solanin that I first learned about Kengo Kora and after watching the movie I started following his dramas and films.

Aside from Linda Linda Linda, other band movies that I watched were Fish Story, The Shonen Merikensack, Bandage, and Nana. I still have to watch GS Wonderland and Rockers. :) :) :)

Title Saikou no Rikon Spoiler
I'm about to watch the final episode, but I had to comment separately on how heartbreaking Eita was in the scene…
I agree with this! There were a lot of scenes that I felt were directed brilliantly and that I don't see very often in dramas. I liked the perspective of their camera specifically the one that seems to be situated in the kitchen area. It gives the feeling that the viewers are merely gossipers to the problems of the couple. I also liked the scene where Hoshino/Kono (I forgot her first name haha) and Mistuo went out to drink and just talked until dawn in a restaurant. Oh I love this series so much. Sorry for the outburst of thoughts. Hahaha. :)

*Tried posting a long rant too, but ended up wanting to say that:

People aware of this issue/problem should always take culture into consideration SO THAT a solution (if possible) is customized in a way that will solve the issue but still somehow retain crucial parts of their culture and still keep the most important part of their society's identity. :)

HOMG! Eita is such a talented actor! He's my favorite, if any of you are concerned. Hehehe. I love him the most in SunaNare but sometimes I hesitate and let my heart fight for his role in Last Friends for the top spot. ^__^ 7/13 of the dramas and/or movies in your list and I have yet to get find copies of the 3 of the movies you mentioned at the last part of your article. I'm so excited to see all of them! Thank you for sharing this! :)
