I get your point, but I think Japanese BLs are growing a lot in popularity, especially internationally š It used to be rare to see anyone talking about them, but now thereās a noticeable number of fans commenting and discussing each episode. Itās still a niche, but the growth is impressive

I donāt really understand much about adaptations, so please correct me if Iām wrong, but I feel like the screenwriters donāt help either. Even if the original works are short, they could still expand them a bit.iām not sure how they view jbl, but times have changed, and internationally many fans actually prefer watching Japanese bl.Not that the others are bad, but the Japanese bl market is growing a lot. I still dream that one day weāll get Japanese BLs with good length and proper format.
Ep 3 really outdid the previous ones. I still stand by what I said before, but the connection between them is starting to feel different now. You can tell there are so many layers in their relationship, and itās a shame that with such few episodes and such short runtime, all of that probably wonāt be fully explored.
I honestly wish their attraction developed more slowly, with deeper characterization and a more realistic portrayal of the Yakuza world.
And that proposal scene in the valley š seriously, Japan needs to stop putting such amazing and complex stories into these ridiculously short formats!
If thereās ever a spin about Shingyoji and Arata Iād be the happiest person alive. Right now it feels like weāre just getting crumbs between Takabayashi and Yoshizawa. That slap was so unexpected š¤£
It can't be worse than chains of heart. The 9.0 rating you gave is surprising.
Have you ever heard of personal taste? Let me explain it to you, since it seems like you missed the basics in school: everyoneās allowed to like different things. You donāt have to like it, and I donāt need your approval to enjoy it. Got it, genius? And thanks for stalking my profile. Kiss on the shoulder, cockroach
I donāt know if itās just me, but I didnāt really feel any chemistry between the two š„². Maybe I need to rewatch, but honestly it felt kind of meh. The story is good and the acting is solid, but somethingās missing. For this kind of drama, each episode should be at least 50 minutes so the plot can breathe without leaving holes. I love these two but I just donāt see them as a couple here. Still, Iāll keep watching because Iāve been waiting three months for this bl
The first couple didnāt really get me excited. Their interactions felt a bit rushed, like they skipped over some important moments before even really getting to know each other.
The second couple, Arata-san and Shingyoji, I found way more interesting. Even with just a few lines, they managed to warm my heart especially when Shingyoji gave that sweet smile after Arata-san replied to him š He looked like a happy puppy whose owner just came home, and it was like a ray of sunshine. Honestly, I thought Arata-san would be the sunshine one because of his orange hair, but I was totally wrong haha. I feel like Shingyoji really wants to impress Arata-san, but I hope they break that silly two meter rule soon.
As for the third couple theyāre also pretty interesting. It feels like thereās a lack of communication between them.
And the fourth couple⦠oh my gosh š That school patrol conversation was so boring on the surface, but I couldnāt stop focusing on the boy staring at the mole on the other oneās ear it gave me butterflies in my stomach.
im ready. imobsessed with these three couples. If Japan doesnāt know how to build their stories properly, itāll be such a waste.

this bl has literally everything you wanted, and the OST is still one of my all time favorites.
