I loved Dance of the Phoenix not the ending tho, imo. I would've given Battle of Chognzi a low rating but I don't have it in me to do that for any drama. They're all gifts from a higher power.

Yang Chao Yue is always getting a bad rap for her acting. Her role in the Journey of Chongzi was a terrible role with horrible writing , so I don't get why all the remarks about her performance the role sucked no one could've pulled off a better performance for such a crappy character. The whole story wasn't good. And her co star was stoic throughout all his scenes and not much help to anyone . She was awesome in Heroes and the Dance of the Phoenix, imo.

I don't recall the main leads ever stabbing each other at all. Like him stabbing her, or her stabbing him, never. Shifu stabs himself in the novel.

Does Qian Ren seem a little too interested in XY? Anyone else getting that vibe? When XY first arrived he appeared a little too eager to cool her with the cloth when CK interjected, and and when she was recued by CK and in his arms, he told CK to let him take care of her and wanted to carry XY himself?! Why not wait till she's placed in the bed by CK? He's a physician, but he's a little extra and sus imo.

CK is a smooth peck kisser, not passionate yet, but he's bold and went for it. Nice face dive on his end. He didn't care his subordinates were watching too. A little kinky gotta say for someone so reserved.😳😳😍😍
