Thank you for writing such a wonderful article! I love how C-dramas are getting more and more popular! This drama does nothing but give some lovin' and good vibes :) I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried C-dramas yet (together with another Gu Man adaptation, Boss & Me). Gu Man rocks haha!

P.S. Stating the obvious here but Yang Yang is just so perfect like how is it even possible... and I love Zheng Shuang too!

I really think that this is one of the most inconsiderate/insensitive comments I've seen on MDL. Like what the previous commenter said, subbers are humans, not robots. They may actually commit to something but uncontrollable factors can make them do otherwise.

Hoping that you can be more understanding. To be honest, If I were the subber of this drama and read this comment of yours, I wouldn't have the drive to continue subbing because you should be more supportive and patient instead, I wanted to say a lot more but I believe @Emily already said it perfectly.

EDIT: Good job, Jane A! The subber was able to read your comment and she was particularly down because of it and as I predicted, she didn't want to continue subbing anymore. If you hate it when people commit to something and fail to follow through, then I hate people who just try to bring other people down just because things didn't go their way.

As a psych major, "Shoot My Heart" really appealed to me so I already placed it in my PTW but since you wrote about it, I just remembered that it's a must-watch for me <3 1st movie also intrigued me while enough has been said about "Our Times" aaahh best TW-movie for me <3

glad that I wasn't the only one who felt that way aahh love this movie forever especially the cameo roles too of course ;)

maybe because it was too soon when you watched the second time around?! haha! My favorite set of scenes would have to be when Xu Taiyu talked to Ouyang Tai about her, when he gave him notes about taking care of her. T_T

Haha! Cried the first time and teary-eyed the second time!! Still gave me feels and it has truly affirmed my love for it :D

one of those few movies worth rewatching despite its length! T_T

so am I the only one who still loved this movie despite the change of actors... don't blame me too because I'm a fan of both Joe and Jerry (now I want a drama with them!) haha! We have to take it from the perspective of the director, she has always had these two in mind as the grown-up versions because they're basically the actors that her Taiwanese target audience grew up with which partly explains why the title is "Our Times" ;)

It was also her directorial debut so she had to secure such big star cameos because she was also very anxious with the outcome of the film. Okay, that's all! Thought I just had to share my unpopular opinion lol

can they please get over Kai's scandal already and just release this film T_T

I second what @Lily2PM said! It may be tiring and too much of a cliche to watch something that deals with memory loss but I think this is one of the few dramas that was able to utilize such overused plot device so excellently :D I love this drama so much so I hope you'll end up liking it too :)
