I think that's what I 've been enjoying too,the fact that it's not romanticising the story,both the male lead and female lead have their strenghts and weaknesses.If I wanted something fluffy and cute with a supa dupa nice male lead,there's plenty of sageuks with cutie pie male leads.
This drama,on the other hand feels real and I bet this is what happened between them at that time.Tbh,I'm just thankful he did not take her by force bc he could if he wanted to.

yep,I personally would've done the same thing.Becoming a king's wife is scary,no matter how hot he is or how in love he is with you,you never really know :`)

A couple of hours ago I rewatched a couple of Crown Prince era scenes and I must say,how the times have changed :`)

We still have 2 eps to go,but I think this drama is going to be my favorite kdrama ever.It has not disappointed me at all and it's kinda surprising bc I get bored easily and drop dramas very fast
