It was not explained. I think the author is just trying to set her as modern thinking woman, hence her business sense of creating logo and such. No golden finger, if that's what you are looking for. She only mentioned it as a short conversation near the end of the book.

OMG I have repeated ep 24's certain scenes for like 5 times already. Even dragging my hubby to watch (afterwards, he promptly left because it was too melodramatic for his taste lol)

I am dying waiting for the remaining episodes... I read the whole novel, but they made some changes in the drama. I'm liking it so far~

1. No, it was not him. They were all sacrifice of the Old Emperor.
2. Hmmm... let's just say, his arrogance during youth time caused him issues. He got trapped by the Old Emperor scheme and by the time he realized it, it was too late and no going back. He could only salvage what he could, did his best in his own way, and protect the one dear to his heart. I won't say he is good, but he is not 100% bad. He is victim of the politics and unfortunate situation.

QiMin is literally a madman. He is suspicious by past experience, vengeful, and possessive. He loves her (in his own twisted way), but... he cannot let go of his nature because of how he had lived as someone else for 17 years and how his family died in the political maneuver. He is the real 'yandere' tag in any webnovel you find, and not the one who will turn into softhearted type.

He did. The Marquis used the little brother's fury as one of the delay tactic in the novel (when facing Qi Min).

Qianqian did tell to his face in the novel before his death. Something along the line "just because you give a reward or small gratitude to someone, you expect the undying loyalty and love. The world doesn't spin that way." She never loved him and she *cough cough* modern enough to abide by the law and loving herself (and her family more).

This feels like a half rewrite of Marrying The Villain... I only watched 3 eps so far, I still like it though!

I mostly agree with everything but the crown prince. I think he is the most 'relatable' as a human. He schemed, made mistakes, regretted, obsessed, then swayed between holding his bottom line as a human or wiping a clean slate to start over. At the end of the day, though, what he did is *slightly* better than the unredeemable fallen immortal - who preferred not to recognize his demonized wife and killed her himself. When I saw what he did to his wife, I was like, "Wow, dude... I thought you wanted to revive your family, I guess you want to revive your memory only" -_-

Right, I saw him the first time in Condor Heroes as the villain, but I was thinking he did quite a good job as trashy Yang Kang. At least, he is the only Yang Kang that I can remember from all the condor heroes version I watched (and I watched 5 versions already, mind you).

I think his acting in The Enchanting Phantom movie (remake of old Leslie Cheung's Chinese Ghost Stories) was good too. I actually dragged my mom to watch that movie lol He is quite a versatile actor and I'm pleased with all his work I watched so far~
