We all have different reasons for liking a drama. Oftentimes we have some personal connections to the drama, through similar experiences or wanting to experience what's portrayed in a drama etc. I get to live my nonexistent love life through Lovely Runner and it's making me happy🤗

I didn't even plan to watch it but after the second ep aired and I heard of that plot twist I got curious. I was sure that I would watch a couple of ep and then drop it because I actually don't have time right now. But I just got sucked in and there's no way out now
I have seen some comments saying it's not the best acting, not the best plot, directing, writing etc. I agree- there definitely are better actresses and actors, directors, writers out there. The high rating doesn't come from us comparing it to for example Parasite. It is making our hearts flutter, we connect with the characters, we believe their feelings for each other. The comedic scenes align with our humour. The reason why I like it and rate it so high is that it ticks all the boxes I need from this genre- romcom. It's a near perfect romcom. I love the acting, directing and writing here- it all works together so well. They together created a romantic comedy that we get addicted to and can't get enough of.
