can someone explain their take on the scene with bumseok trying to hold him back when they were sitting in the…
Beomseok represents the guilt sieun feels, it eats him alive and doesn't let him move on. He probably feels like he failed beomseok and couldn't help him and also feels like he is the reason for suho's condition. He's scared to get attached to his new friends bc of the past. But he overcomes it, leaves beomseok behind and goes back to his friends and suho. He can finally move forward
After high school frenemy GMM TV has to realize the amazing chemistry between these 2 leads and eventually place…
The decision is for them to make, but they are open to it. Sky said he'll consider acting in a bl series if the script is good and Nani said it's something for later. Bl community can be really toxic so i get that they're taking their time
I'm kind of confused as to why the director used the BL card. I thought the audience for this drama was another…
You underestimate BL fans. They're everywhere, they are the ones who keep the fandoms alive and make the shows popular. Other part of the fandom might be big (not bigger than the amount of bl fans who actually create content) but most of those people can only whine and make boring aura edits. "Using the bl card" is actually just acknowledging the obvious. "Upset the original audience"???? "Original"?? The show is for the young people across the world, do you think only straight incels watch it? Crazy People have been shipping the characters since the webtoon, they don't need to hear anything from the director but still it was nice he said that.
why are people trying to guess their sexuality and making it bl? here as well as s1 page. just enjoy the god damn…
People can enjoy their friendship and ship them at the same time. Why are you telling the others how to perceive this drama? Also, the director, jihoon and hyunwook themselves said that there are romantic feelings between suho and sieun. Maybe they know better than you... Idk... Bc they worked on the series and played the actual characters??
Shse being canon doesn't change anything about the drama. They were in love from the beginning and Sieun spend the whole 2nd season mourning Suho like a husband he lost in a war. But that doesn't mean that the creators will turn 3rd season into a college bl like bffr.
The problem lays in the way that people see gay relationship. If there's a mlm/wlw character, suddenly the authors are pushing the lgbt agenda and making everything woke. Almost in every plot-heavy drama there's a slight hetero romance and no one complains about it. So why are you so mad about two guys being in love in this drama? Weak hero concentrates on bullying, social problems, gangs, fighting etc etc. It's not a romance show, but there's romantic subtext (if you're not blind) which is totally normal.
I don't even know what story they are preparing for 3rd season, and i don't know what they're going to do with shse. Of course it will be similar in genre with the previous seasons. Most probably there will be even more devastating yearning between suho and sieun and subtle hints here and there.
You can interpret their relationship however you want, idgaf. But for me, the cast and the director they are in love so stay mad
I think they're teasing the fans. Hyun Wook jokingly calls it a high school romance and Si Eun says Suho is like…
They were not teasing fans, jihoon looked serious when he talked about shse relationship. The director, jihoon and huynwook were choosing words carefully, they didn't say all that just to joke. Also the director said "now that some time passed i guess i can say that" meaning that shse were meant to be more than just friends from beginning. They're each others first love, it doesn't change the plot, it adds depth to it.
