I must say Ryo was just hot. Incredibly hot and he actually bought his character to live. He made the viewers hate great acting. Same goes with everyone else.
One thing I hated, Michiru 's character. I hated how she had her friends protecting her and supporting her but she still went back to him when she knows how he is. She knows he will best her up, rape her etc but why? Was it worth it? There was at times where I felt sorry for Ryo and actually wanted him to change his ways.. For instance when he was really sick after waiting for Michiru in the rain. He does all the right stuff that'll make a woman fall for him but then he changes into a violent and vicious man straight away.
I honestly didn't want him to die... Just that he receives proper help. Maybe something could happened between them like starting a family.
I know that irl situations the woman may go back to the partner due to love and etc. For instance there was a short film called "Murdered by my boyfriend" although boyfriend was abusive, vicious and a prick she went back to him even though she knew what he was like. This show shows awareness. Loved it.
Watched this drama when it first came out and watched it again new months back... Ngl there was some parts where it got boring and I skipped but overall a good drama!!!!
Dong Yoon is pathetic. I understand that he is weak and is unable to stand up to the bullies but to allow them to rape your close friends and not do anything about it? That's fucked up. He should have at least called the police on the sly and not mention it or etc, he could have helped them but no he didn't. How can you allow them to force you to fricking rape them? He deserves the pain he gets as well, if he gets time in prison good!! Next time if this happens he will be aware of what to do to prevent this from happening again.
I know this is based on a true story, the Miryang gang rape- and it is disgusting. How the rapists family treat the victim pure and utter disgusting. They should think about their parenting skills as a parent, like they raised a rapist and that rapist deserves the pain they get. No one deserves to go through this.
Loved this movie, it was done really well. The cast etc. I loved the meaning of this movie as well, and how she learned to swim so that if she was to drown herself in the river she can always swim back and try again
Hopefully it'll have a better ending than the drama - I HATE 'open endings'.......
Same i was rooting for Baek In Ho i just find him incredibly cute! But then again id want to know who she ends up with and if they did show that in the movie that'll be good but i would have preferred it with the old cast. I cant be the only one right?
i really loved the cast from the tv series, they did a good job. They also suited their character. Not sure how i feel about the new cast, making me feel edgy about the movie. Hopefully i end up liking it and get used to the new cast playing the characters. Shout out to Park Hae Jin for being casted the main lead in the movie lol.
The fact that they were minors so they didn't get punished was fucked up. Regardless, they should be punished and Park Joon who raped her but was let off free because there was no harm done to the girl? Wtf wb all them bruises she got? She's emotionally broken.

This movie was good! To those who are wondering whether to watch it you need to. This movie is about justice. Imo I think the father should have let the law deal with it because they were in the middle of investigating it and finding evidence it was way too early for him to even seek revenge. If they didn't both doing anything about the crime scene then yeah seek revenge but he done it too early and got himself into a right mess. Lee Joo Seung was hella cute in this movie and Seo Hoon Young.

I first watched this when it came out and cried my heart out and watched it again and still cried. There was no justice for the children. It ticked me the right off and felt disgusted knowing that this happens in real life and that there aren't any justice done due to the victim family being poor etc.
