I'm surprised that Shao Peng isn't affected by Zi Xiang's fiancé's words at all. Like it was established that he has some issues towards his own limitations. While Zi Xiang and his family have helped dispel them some, surely he still has insecurities? And then the fiancé is basically saying all the ways Shao Peng can't measure up and he just brushes it off? IDK, it just really surprised me he barely acknowledged her

I feel like before they started filming each cast member pulled an emotion out of a hat and it was decided that that was the only emotion they could portray for the entire episode. I'm sorry but characters were so one dimensional that it made them unlikeable.

This would have been a 10/10 if Yongjie just found a hole and died in it

While I do still like the Thai version better, I do agree that sometimes Payu and Rain (and Boss and Neoul's acting as them) was off putting. Like sometimes their smiles were really weird, not even really smiling just like showing their teeth. IDK but I get where you're coming from

So far this series is really watered down and disjointed. I've never read the books and understand why they would not want to promote unhealthy relationships/behavior (especially having minors in the cast) but I feel like even with the adjustments the emotions could have still had impact. But they don't. Everything just seems muted...

I legit had to avert my eyes for Ton Kla and Korn scenes. One of my least favorite couples in any BL I've watched. Korn cheats on Ton Kla and completely forgets about him until he's literally the last option and then has the audacity to end it like Until We Meet Again?! Bro you have the same name but are no where close to UWMA Korn. I also can't believe Ton Kla would sacrifice himself for this guy. Like I know he's low key demented and been in love with him for so long but still...

That would have been so much better! From the other scenes, it's clear Rak is serious about Mut and in love with him so when this scene came up I was like Rak what are you doing!? It's nice to know that it wasn't foreshadowing something for if they do decide to continue with the series!

This whole series was red flag central but there was something about this special episode that really put me off. Worst was Rak flirting with the guy at the bar. Maybe it was suppose to read as him doing it only to make Mut jealous but it really seemed like he was interested. He says he pulled away but he really didn't. Like after all that if Mut doesn't keep his eye on him Rak will just go back to hooking up with other guys? He's made zero growth! Maybe I'm biased because I find Rak's character to be unlikable.

The other was Vi saying something like "if you get drunk I'll take advantage." Even if it was just a joke (but seeing as her style of flirting is manipulation idk if it was) it is gross.

I'm starting to think this company does not know how to pace their shows. When Pit Babe was airing, I remember watching the second to last episode and thinking "how are they going to possibly tie everything together in an hour?" Sloppily was the answer and I worry it will be the same for this show. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy watching it, but I do think it would have been better to have at least 10 episodes rather than 8.

Also, did everyone else see the preview at the end of episode 7? I feel like I've already watched the finale with how much it gave away!
