If you are talking about episode 6, maybe you were mislead by some translation, because Choi talked about a dish («Sonrisa de Albóndigas») he learn at «Plaza de España» (Madrid, Spain)... He ended saying «Tú sonrisa es hermosa» to Joon.

It is not. I already watched six episodes and it's watchable for say the least. It's slow pace, but it's not bad.
