He won Best Actor in Supporting Role in Asian Drama Award for his role in The Gifted and Leap Day. And these awards are not popularity awards. That means, even professional judges can see his amazing acting skills and yet you said he kept on the doing the same thing. ðŸ¤.
Are you a hater or what? Because otherwise it’s impossible to say such nonsense. You can say whatever you want,…
It's very obvious that you've never watched Gun's non BL series (Secret Seven, The War Of Flower, The Gifted, Leap Day, Home School) since you said that his roles are repetitive.
It's obvious that you don't really follow the storyline to understand the logic why Jira behaved like that. Logically…
fyi, P'Nuchy is a very detailed director. when he worked with OffGun in Not Me before, he mentioned that for OffGun's first kiss in that series, he asked Gun to act like he's kind of nervous and shocked because Gun didn't expect for the kiss to happen. Hence I believe, P Nuchy is using the same kogic right here directing the supposedly "first kiss" between PheemJira. but for people like u who only focus on the kissing skills in acting rather than understanding the whole plot, it's understandable why u only judge and see things on the surface. ðŸ¤
That kind of bad acting they do when it isn’t their fixed pairing is so pathetic that I always laugh when I…
It's obvious that you don't really follow the storyline to understand the logic why Jira behaved like that. Logically speaking, Pheem was the one who's trying his best to 'get' Jira. Remember he told the bartender that he 'just want Jira' and it's not out of love. Pheem was going to kiss Jira just after their second meeting. Hence it's understandable why Jira didn't kiss him back at the beginning of ep 3. They barely knew each other by then. Noticed that Pheem apologized after realizing his mistake. He knew that he crossed the line. Bare in your mind Jira admitted that he likes red flag guys. Hence, the reason why he's already sexually attracted to Koh after they first met each other. So the scenario between PheemJira and KohJira is different. In fact, by the end of ep 3, Jira is still not sure of his feelings towards Pheem. He asked Pheem if he has always been that seductive towards others who he has known before. Jira is not into Pheem yet. He was just going with the flow since Pheem is trying to seduce him. Hence the reason why he's not as passionate as Pheem in that scene. So that's not bad acting from Gun..that's what the director and the script required him to do.
Gun, because of the fixed ship, is doing those horrible kissing scenes with Dew I am such second-hand embarrassment.
It's not horrible. Not because of the fixed ship as well.. it's what requested by the script. You need to understand that Jira didn't even kiss back Phim at the beginning of ep 3 because he barely knew Phim. It was only their second time seeing each other. He's not attracted to Phim instantly like how he's sexually attracted to Koh after they first met. Remember that Jira admitted he finds that red flag guys are interesting. In fact, by the end of ep 3, when Phim was trying to get intimate, Jira is still not sure about his feelings as well. Take note that Jira asked Phim if he has always done this intimate gesture towards other people that he's known before. Jira was just following the flow and not interested in Phim as much yet. That's why he's not as passionate as Phim in that scene.
It irks me to read some comments saying that Gun's acting as Jira is mediocre just because Jira didn't reciprocate Pheem's kiss. .errr. Please ..it's what written in the script and required by the scriptwriter and the director. Furthermore, Jira had just known Pheem and it's only their second meeting when the first kiss was about to happen in the beginning of this epi. In fact, Pheem even apologized after realizing that Jira is not going to kiss him back. He knew that he somehow kind of crossed the line. Remember that Jira likes red flags. So he is sexually attracted to Koh even though it's only their first meeting. Jira is still not sure yet about his feelings towards Pheem by the end of this ep. Noticed how he was a bit nervous and asked Pheem if he has always done the same thing (being intimate) to other people before. So of course Jira is not as passionate as Pheem. He was just trying to go with the flow. P'Nuchy is a very detailed director and Gun is definitely doing a great job portraying Jira.
Gun is kissing Dew badly because he’s not Off; if I ever praised his acting, I’m taking it back. And this…
you have to understand that Jira was not attracted to Pheem yet by then...it was only their second meeting at the beginning of episode 3 hence he didn't reciprocate the kiss...notice that Pheem apologized right after he tried to kiss Jira. it's what was required in the script as well...Jira already admitted that he likes red flags and somehow sexually intrested in Koh only after they first met each other. even by the end of ep 3, Jira is still not sure of his feelings towards Pheem. he even asked Pheem if he has always done the same thing to other people that he knows when Pheem was trying to get intimate. so yes.. Gun was just following the storyline and what the director asked him to do. P Nuchy is a very detailed director after all.
OffGun's chemistry in this ep is insane. They don't even kiss yet and here I am spazzing like crazy watching how lovesick Ryan is. Ryan is getting bolder and bolder expressing his feelings for Jane. The way he was gushing and smiling shyly while touching Jane's shirt that he wears...lol. makes me feel as if I'm the one falling hard for Jane
31 year old Gun is still very believable as the 21 year old Ryan..I guess Jane might be 28 to 30 years old ..hence, there is quite a big age gap between the characters. So it's understandable when people said that Ryan looks too young for the matured Jane. That is what Gun has to portray. It's not easy to look 10 years younger than your real age, right? Maybe I am in the minority, for me OFFGUN's chemistry in this series is palpable. For instance, their staring scene in the store room. It was less than one min, but I was so giddy and all flustered while watching the scene. It's not cringe to me at all since I've already bare in my mind there's some age gap between them. Ryan looks so gorgeous and Jane looks dashing that u just can't help to ship them. We see Jane being harsh again towards Ryan in the next ep preview. I somehow feel that Jane might do that on purpose to deny his budding feelings for Ryan since Ryan is his trainee after all. I just hope that there would be more JaneRyan scenes next week since we barely get to see them together in ep 4. I can see that Pie is opening up more for Ryan. Can't help wondering would there be triangle love between JaneRyan and Pie later on?
The fact that so many people are annoyed at Ryan just goes to show that Gun managed to portray his characters very well. We can really see the difference between Ryan, Dome, Black, White, Prem, Punn, Liftoil, Trex etc. It just goes to show that Gun is a versatile actor. And yet there are some people right here saying that Gun's acting skill is getting worse just because they don't like his characters in The Trainee and Cooking Crush. He was just portraying the characters as what were required by the directors and scriptwriters. Hence, please don't put the blame on Gun if u somehow dislike his onscreen characters. At this point, people need to understand that Ryan's character is portrayed as a "damsel in distress" on purpose. Ryan's character is going to evolve as the episodes progressing. From someone who lacks of confidence, has low self esteem and inferiority complex to someone who is much more confident and knows how to appreciate his own self. Look at how he told his father that he is useless when his father asked him about his internship. At the end episode 3, Ryan actually wanted to console Pie and he even tried to ask if Pie is ok now when they were chatting in their groupchat. But somehow, he didn't know what to say, so he offered her a glass of waterin order to make her feel better. Initially he wanted to ask Pie directly if she's ok in the groupchat, but Ryan changed his mind because he's worried that his words might get Pie more stressed. Instead, he asked everyone why Unit B is needed knowing thaf Pie worked so hard in Unit B on that day. He just wanted Pie to realize that she had done her best despite having done an unintended mistake. That's how Ryan subtlely tried to make Pie feels better. I love their friendship. Jane is going to make Ryan gradually realize about his self- worth as the story goes on. Meanwhile Jane is going to fall deeper and deeper for Ryan because he can see that Ryan is actually a dedicated and sincere trainee despite his clumsiness and naivety. This is the premise of the story. Both of them are going to change each other to be a better person. If u watch the trailer, Jane would be more cheerful in the later episodes. Viewers should try to relate to the characters rather than finding more excuses to hate on the characters and somehow put the blame on the actors. If you still can't stand the characters that you dislike in this series or if you hate the storyline, then it's better for you to stop watching rather than keep on torchering yourself and getting stressed.
Some people can't understand that Ryan is naive, lacks of confidence and has kind of inferiority complex. He easily gets nervous and not sure what to do because he's an economy student who's now interning for different field. Something that he never knew or learned before. He even intended to leave the intern post and yet chose to continue out of his gratitude for what Jane did for him in ep 2. People like Ryan do exists in reality. It's not that he doesn't know how to tie the shoelace, he was just kind of nervous being around Jane. As what we can see near the end of ep 2, Ryan has already started to admire Jane. Hence being in close proximity with Jane makes him even more nervous and clumsier. I don't think that he's autistic. I love the fact that Ryan starts to see Jane in a different light near the end of ep 3 and open up more for him. Notice how that he seems more relaxed and can even smile talking to Jane. I bet that Jane has actually started to like Ryan because he can sense Ryan's sincerity despite his clumsiness. I think that Ryan would be clueless about Jane liking him and thinks that he's the one who falls for Jane first in the upcoming episodes. Can't wait to see what Ryan will do to woo Jane. Hehe. That's what written in the series synopsis.
Seriously haters are trying to ruin this series out of their hatred towards Gun because of that sole "incident". They downrate the series and now there are haters in disguise , pretending to be Gun's fans who hate and bash Off. This is what I saw on X as well. I am appalled at how malicious and ignorant they are. The thing is, people are going to hate Gun even more with what these trolls and haters in disguise doing. Stop this madness right now. They should go and get treatment before they get insane out of their hatred. The Trainee is a good series with good plot and all the actors are doing great jobs portraying their characters.
I'm glad people are dragging this show. Gun needs a new partner. Why does every other BL couple at GMMTV get a…
U're actually dragging Gun down with your negative comment about Off. I actually think you're one of those Gun's hater in disguise. You remind me of some trolls amd haters that I saw on X. Stop doing things like this. You're attracting more haters to hate Gun.
I definitely know the fans from which fandom that downrate this series on purpose. Those losers from that fandom are so pathetic and malicious. Tsk tsk.
I agree those scenes were 100% OffGun. It is well documented that Gun gets ticklish with anything next to his…
I understand what you mean when you said that you want to see TenPrem instead of OffGun. The thing is, the director and scriptwriter should have asked them reshoot the scenes if they don't like how OG acted out the scenes. So I guess, the director love the naturalness of their interaction/acting in those scenes, hence the reason why they didn't ask OG to redo them.
