yes it is! i gave it a go bcs of the drama being announced and boy, am i glad i read it! the message it sends is really powerful imo and it's one of the best webtoons out there,well written and compact.

Yeah ahahaha it was a bit too much for sure XD But he has probably grown since then and understood that he shouldnt "toy" with others like that, even if it's not his intention. After all,he is still young.

I really think he can make it.He has the visuals,the talent,the dedication and also the personality! If you watch him in any variety show,you will know what I mean,he is very charming.

I'm not sure if the monster dude takes them over and then they can't get control of themselves again. Maybe they could do it like this:Sang Wook fainted from the blood loss and was dying,monster dude took over and then he healed his body bcs of the regen powers. So maybe if they find a way to kill that guy without killing Sang Wook or maybe if the monster dude finds a new host,we can see him again as his actual self. just speculations, I have no idea what will happen with that storyline xD

And yeah, I really liked the scene in which he told Jae Heon that God probably likes him more. It was so sad because God is supposed to love all and he doesnt think he is worthy of that :(

Lee Do Hyun btw broke up with his ex because he wanted to experience real heartbreak for a role XD I kid you not,he went to this extent ahaha he said that he must have been crazy and she was super pissed off (understandably). I think he prioritizes his acting career because his wish is to pay off for his family's debt. He has a very tough family life,his brother has a disability and his parents have a big debt. So even though he liked his gf, he must have done it bcs he really wants to do well and succeed in order to provide his family. That's commendable but I can understand the gf :/ On the bright side he was very convincing in the role and it shows how dedicated he is to his craft.

OKAY SO, I'm still getting to know him and his work so I haven't watched everything he has been in. I've heard great words about 18 again which I will start soon enough. I recommend you Hotel Del Luna and Prison Playbook. In HDL he is the second lead,doesnt have that much screen time but he is one of the most important characters in the show and he really shows off his charm there.Plus I absolutely love his character. Prison Playbook is his debut show and he has a very small role as one of the 2 main guys when they are young. I recommend this to you bcs it's an amazing show. But yeah I think 18 again and HDL are musts if you liked him and want to see more. Also he'll be in a new drama with Go Min Si ( his sis in sweet home) that airs in May.

Honestly,im the kind of person who points at the screen and yells THIS DIDNT HAPPEN IN THE WEBTOON and even though the webtoon followes a completely different route, I loved both the webtoon and the drama and I have no complaints. A lot of characters are different, a lot of people die in different ways and the kdrama's ending doesnt follow the webtoon at all. I dont think I can choose a favorite,both are great and they share the same "vibe" to them so I think you will enjoy the webtoon too.

I feel the same way about the deaths.At least in the webtoon they were more spaced out,as to say. Not sure if Dusik died since he also got a nosebleed before so maybe he is alive. About Sang Wook I think that he is the monster guy from the gang,but maybe there is hope for him?Idk how it works exactly. Yuri seems dead sadly :/ I think that they should keep Eun Hyuk alive at the very least, it's kinda okay if Dusik dies bcs I can't see how he'll be able to survive easily outside the building.The world is too hostile for someone with his disability :(

And yes,Lee Do Hyun is such an amazing actor, I recently discovered him and I'm obsessed with him! I think he enjoys most of his projects as he said that he likes taking on new challenges. It really shows that he loves what he is doing and that's what makes his acting even more believable!

Not to spoil the webtoon but Eun Hyuk's character does go through somewhat of a "change" so I'm really interested to see how it turns out.

And yeah, tbh Eun Hyuk was my favorite character in the webtoon and even though he was a bit different (he smiled a lot even when taking on immoral choices) I really liked Lee Do Hyun's portrayal of him. It was more "quiet" and subtle in a way that it still suits the character.

that is true tbh, and that's the case that can be made for most relationships revolving minors and adults and as to why it has been made illegal. adults are gonna want different things at that point in life than the minors and also the younger one will most likely not be mature enough to handle the consequences of a mature relationship. im just saying that based on what happened in the past, and since goblin does start in goryeo, it is what it is. also even though eun tak is very childlike and seemingly immature,i do think that she is mature for her age considering she had to grow up after being able to see ghosts,losing her mother and having to endure her aunt's treatment. so i dont think she's that immature but i can see why the age gap could be off putting to some,i also had my doubts.

i havent watched sunbae dont put on that lipstick, but yeah in many cases emotional maturity doesnt age with well age xD

True, I mostly agreed with your list and the way you said things, I just felt that some extra things could be said about the age difference in Goblin ^^

since u mentioned goblin,id also like to say that it kinda makes sense that she is young. in the past,old men would marry younger women or even girls and the theme of arranged marriage had always been a thing. the goblin meeting the bride when she came of age feels good in the sense that she could have been even younger to represent the age gap between brides and husbands as it was in the old times and that would definitely be creepy. also we can't really make it into a case of grooming,he took her in to save her from abuse and they were kind of destined to fall in love with each other so it's not as if he was the one to push a relationship with a minor.

Is it just me or do you also think that Eun Hyuk is alive? First of all, Lee Do Hyun posted a picture with the script on instagram.Second of all,even if the drama is different than the webtoon, I don't think they'd kill off such an important character. Plus,even in the webtoonhe doesn't get a certain death of some sorts. And third of all,the nosebleed. I feel like them showing us that he has symptoms wasn't just for the sake of explaining why he went away from the group but to also show that because he has symptoms he will survive. Knowing his character,even though he "sacrificed" himself in a way, I bet he was also curious and wanted to see if he can be like Hyun Soo. That's also why he stayed back. Maybe it's just me but that's how I feel.

Legit read it within a day after finding out that Hwang In Yeop is in it.No one could have prepared me for such a beatiful story,I really recommend the webtoon to anyone who is interested in watching the drama..

Ever since I found out about what goes down in the webtoon I got crazed about everything. I keep thinking about this show/webtoon over and over again and I keep wishing that Seojun/Jugyeong somehow is endgame in the webtoon and canon here. Like,I didn't even ship them that much initially,I was torn but didn't have hope because I knew that Suho will get the girl.Then they got together and I had hope for once,and that's how I came to ship them the most.Because there was a chance they could be endgame. I hate to see that the drama is not heading in that direction and I'm only hoping that we get a second season because there is no way they can manage to fit the entire Suho goes away-she gets with Seojun in just a season.Plus,at the end of he day,this drama is an adaptation as it states in he sum.Not "based on" which means that techinically it ought to follow what happens in the webtoon. Even though I really enjoy the drama so far,there are many times when I feel like I can't enjoy it properly just because it doesn't follow Seojun/Jugyeong's storyline. Even if I was more of a Suho/Jugyeong supported,I would still wish to get the full story rather than a fraction of it.And yeah,the Seojun scenes being given to Suho is soooo annoying! I don't even understand why they would do such a thing.It makes it seem as if it will be a one sided crush on Seojun's side and there's that.Suho gets the girl,Seojun is sad and Jugyeong has no feelings for him. When in reality,it's quite the opposite! Dare I say that she had way more feelings for Seojun than she did for Suho.The latter was her first crush but Seojun was her boyfriend and she loved him.Endgame or not,we can't go past that or just forget it happened. I urge everyone I know to read the webtoon just to get to know this amazing couple. But then again I guess history is being written by the winners and that's what the drama is trying to do.

P.S. I think you are totally right about Reply.I never expected Taek to be the husband and that's exactly why the series was so fresh and interesting till the very end.I feel like korean dramas are too much into the idea that second lead is obligated to be sad and just follow around like a sad love puppy instead of giving them an actual chance.And that's why I was really happy that webtoon gave Seojun a proper chance. Idk how the writer intends to end it but now that it happened,I can't look past it and wholeheartedly accept a Suho happy ending.And while it's not exactly the same,I also feel that Scarlet Heart had a similar thing happen:Wang So wasn't the first lead from the getgo,since Wang Wook got way more screentime early on but since that slowly started shifting more towards his favor,we got a truly memorable couple,with or without a happy ending.Oh and,is it just me or is the "gotta break up because he should get a proper queen" plot very similar to the "gotta break up because he is an idol now" plot very similar xD I mean it doesn't help that Lee Joon Gi and Seojun's actor also look a lot like one another ahahaha

yeah that's just really sad :( but it's too early to tell ahaha who knows,the webtoon hasnt finished yet,maybe the kdrama could have 2 seasons or something and show their story at some point. a girl can only dream ^^

Well,I don't know if they are going to do it (doesn't look like it .-.) but I think it's vital to show the relationship between her and Seojun. It's one of the biggest arcs in the webtoon,treating Seojun as something less than a main character is unacceptable. The webtoon even reaches a point where Seojun is just as much a male lead as Suho,if not more.Erasing that,would be like erasing a huge part of the webtoon's storyline.
I really hope they do dive into it,considering this is one of my favorite relationships and it's so well developed.Plus,how often do we see the second lead turning into the first lead and getting together with the girl? Would definitely be a breeze of fresh air..

Have watched 2/3 and now I'm off to watch the third cause the others too were seriously amazing(Shoplifters,Castaway on the moon)

For a sequel,I think this is pretty good!It's rare to ask for a perfect sequel and receive one but this is close enough.I think the reason why some people are negative is because they keep comparing it to the first season.But hey,new cast,new storyline,don't be so prejudiced.
Kudos to the screenwriters and the actors!So glad to see(especially) Kim Sun Ho playing more leads.

well yeah but even when I loved the show,I can't think about how a season 2 would work exactly....Unless it turns out like Voice and starts with a new plot o something.
