Sorry if it was unclear.. I didn't want to spoil it 'cause I liked the ending. ^^' But I try to say it more clearly.
Jang Woo, Su Yeon or Tae Ho do not die in the war. They all make it. But.. during the battle on the bridge in the final episode Jang Woo is supposed to have died or gone missing. Su Yeon is left alone with their unborn child and never sees him again. After this the rest of the episode is set in the future where we see elderly Jang Woo who has come back after 60 years.
It took me a while to finish this one~ The first half of this drama felt really slow to me and it took so many episodes to get into it.. but it was worth it! It only got better the more I watched it. :D

I found it overly exaggerated and ridiculous. But I really liked the guys in the second company and the friendships that formed. :')
