drama was good a first but kinda went downhill during the last few eps due to various plot twists. there's also some loopholes because ML never found out who caused FL to have a miscarriage and injured her throat. they never addressed the background story behind why ML always said 2nd FL "betrayed" him or why the eldest brother killed snowdrop/xuelian.
chemistry was good and more of a melodrama. the beginning is kinda a slow start and ML is more on the toxic end, but don't drop it bc of that (trust me). it was def more emotional towards the end so prepare ur tissues! its supposed to be a sad ending, where both leads end up dying. FL sacrifices herself in order to save/recover ML's clan. ML ends up dying in order to meet FL in the afterlife
a slow start for me at first but ended up enjoying it more than i expected. FL was thinking that ML would choose to revive Linchuan, which is why FL decided to stab herself to take out the branch. ML ends up stabbing himself to reunite with FL in the afterlife. if thats the case, who's gonna take care of Linchuan? if only nothing happened and they just left Linchuan like that
