ML's amnesia part is kinda happen in second half of story but this is different kind of amnesia XD It was fun and same time have painful moment but it is one of the best parts of story. This drama is angesty, ML is not like other MLs. First he is more scarier than villains of story. He is not in cultivators side nor demonic. He is on his own. Like is common to see him beating both sides @ss XD And he is good schemer. He even can devise who lives in heaven and they will be like what happened?

It have refreshing story and it's different from what is written here. You would think it is same but then you watch and see how special it is. When drama comes try it out.

First half of novel it really gave me this vibe🫠
I don't want to spoil it for you their story is just so beautiful and painful. Shifu is one the character's I pity him a lot. I can't wait to watch it either. This was one of the few stories I even read angst parts with joy. The boring parts in other stories that beautifully written here, You want to reread and reread it again. Hope they release some trailer soon.

Don't let synopsis devise you. This is not your typical xianxia!

The part you said" the immortal realm is fighting to save the world and the demon realm is the antagonist" It have big surprise XD I think this is only drama that ML is going to duck no matter who is it. From immortal sect or demonic, If they are in his way, He is not going to go easy with them :)

Let me assure you this is going to blow your mind. Before reading the novel I had expected some typical story like you mentioned but after I read it, It became one of my favorite novels in whole time. First of al ML is not good person. He is demonic cultivator and he is even scarier than stories villains. He have complex character. Nor green or black. He is not even a gray character.

FL is not stupid. ML loves her but it doesn't mean he is going to spoil her so much like other masters like other dramas. He is rough and want to make her independent that can save herself in dangers and she is smart enough to learn fast and no matter what, She always believe in her master.

First half of story reminded me of The untamed. It was like I was reading straight version of untamed. The story is full of surprises and sweat moments. It's more focused on their love story and it was first time I read a xiannxia novel without getting bored and reread it twice.

Few days ago when DW had interview with Suho entertainment, MC asked about what he felt when he saw Cha Xu Xun's pictures taken by paparazzies? The main point is why they still called his character by original Chinese name and not new one? You know suho is weibo's entertainment magazine so maybe Iqiyi is working on names again and planned to change it back? Maybe that's the reason it take a lot of time to release it?

If you mean the company tactics that rumored few month ago, Let me say all of them false. He have small company with no supporter. He have a lot of international haters cus they don't like his character in certain drama so when they got the opportunity, They spread false rumors and cus inter fans don't have accesses in weibo they believed no matter what without searching and finding out truth.

First they spread rumor about him that his fans doing shady job to force him with Lu si with equal biling, But it was all lie. That drama didn't have license to start filming let chose actors. Lu si's company confirmed she didn't even received a screenwriting for this drama!

There is another rumor that say cus he is famous right now, They changed his line from 3ML to 2ML in The legend of rosy clouds. First of all, DW become famous after LYF aired and before that he wasn't that popular in china. For all of his works he went to audition and Legend start filming and announcing it's main character year before LYF! The production team announced changes befure choosing actors and his character from start was 2ML!

There is a lot of rumors like that and with just small search you can find the truth but some people are intend to believe lies to seek truth...

DW and YSX was chosen for the drama and it was kinda official until production team remove YSX cus haters said she don't have quality to play on that drama. After her DW didn't want to play in this drama and he refused to play cus he find it not professional to remove actor cus of some hater thing. He is this kind of sweet guy. When LYF's production team were bad with him, He just smiled and promoted drama more than other actors.

I hope someday more people find out about how sweet and good actor he is and all of this misunderstandings become clear.
