Not so far. But it feels like there's something cooking up between the openly gay assistant and the "womanizer" hairdresser... From the preview, there's some development coming up next week. If anything happens, it will be a side side story line anyway.
Volunteers only serve half the regular time, but for people who "win" the lottery, it's the full length! That's…
Considering how the conscription goes in Thailand... I'm tempted to say he's probably not delighted about it. But at least GMMTV announced they would continue to colaborate once it's over.

It's really bad luck. There are spots for about 1/3rd of them... And often time there are a bunch of volunteer in most districts (especially the poor ones), so the odds of drawing a red card aren't that high.
red card means 6 months or two years? hes a student as well yeah
Volunteers only serve half the regular time, but for people who "win" the lottery, it's the full length! That's 1 year for university graduates and 2 years for the rest. Since I guess Frank wasn't a university graduate, well... it's really 2 years.
What happned to him? he want to be in the Army or they force him to be?
They have a mandatory military service... but they only have a certain amount of open spots (I think for technical/cost reasons, but I'd have to check). Either enough people volunteer for each "draft" or there's a lottery kind of thing, if they draw a red card, they're on for 1 or 2 years. (there were a bunch of articles on the subject when BamBam got exempted because there were enough volunteers - and there are videos of the whole process too, pretty interesting to see how it works.)
I'll save you the stress. DONT WATVH THIS MOVIE.ITS SOO CLICHE.ITS SUPER CRINGY.ITS FULL OF FAKENESS. Like ALOT…
A comedy. It's a comedy that doesn't take itself seriously. It's not meant to be realistic Just look at how many times the characters are knocked out with no brain damage and how the stabbings are always just minor wounds!
To each its own, but no, movies and tv shows don't have to be realistic at all.
If this show had had just an ounce of serious drama, the main leads' relation would be problematic, but the show is too crazy for it to be a problem in my opinion.
This is on my to-watch list, but after watching the first episode I'm seriously doubting to even continue. This…
I've just finished it... And I'd say give it a try! But don't take it seriously, the show itself doesn't. And there's an actual plot, despite what the first episode may let you think.
how is this? is it light/easy to watch or more dark/heavy
I'd say pretty easy to watch. Overall it leans more on the funny side, but they didn't go light on the "mystery" part, the stories can be quite dark...
Anyone notice that alcohol is not blurred out in this series? I find it kind of odd lol
I wondered about that too. but then it's some weird color drink, it can't really be identified as alcohol, and the can of beer, it was wrapped in paper... maybe they just found a way to go around censorship, the product itself can't be identified as alcool as a stand alone... Or they don't censor the internet version?
If I can be honest I love this series. But somehow this series, the contents of the story as FUJOSHI imagination…
Well, in general, a big part (if not most) of the series, movies, novels or comics will not depict the world as it truly is. And that's the whole point! They're here to provide some escape.
It's great when a fiction tackles real serious issues, but unrealistically sweet/happy/fluffy works of fiction are much needed too.
For one "Floating Skyscraper" I need at least 10 " 2 moons"... and maybe even more.
People are smart enough to make the difference and no one in their right mind would assume "2 moons" depict any kind of reality.
And it's not just a BL thing, it's the same for any type of fiction.
Oh boy! It's bad! I saw everywhere that it's a "classic" must-watch drama. I took the opportunity…
I wanted to drop it right away too, but given how popular it is, I thought there would be something redeeming coming up soon... but no.
The group of male leads bullies a boy so badly that he tries to kill himself (only to be saved by the MFC), but they never excuse themselves/try to improve. Pfff... I get that male characters are often somewhat of an ass in most kdrama, but here they're taking it to a new level.
(well maybe it does get better in the second half of the drama, but that's just too much wait for me!)

I saw everywhere that it's a "classic" must-watch drama. I took the opportunity to watch it on Netflix, even if I was only half convinced by the cliché story. The main characters aren't likable (to put it nicely).
It's too much, too over the top, it's often ridiculous and extremely cliché (and bad clichés, not well-played tropes).
Maybe the drama didn't age well, maybe I'm too old for that s*** but I made it to episode 9 and I won't go any further.
