I honestly don't know how I feel about this. I mean I finished it, and I liked the story, but it was so silly and then so serious it was hard to keep up with the changes. One couple was there purely for sex (and weirdly unhunged sex). I feel like they almost infantilazed Sang Min. I understand Thai wasn't supposed to be his first language so they way he talked was stilted and a bit juvenille, but he also acted that way when he spoke it. The few times he spoke Korean it was like he was a different person. Idk it wasn't awful, but I easily could have dropped this and not missed out.
I tried to watch the first episode but somehow it didn’t catch me at all (I don’t like Plawan much..). Will…
I had trouble getting through the first episode as well, but it did get better, at least for me. While I never completely grew to like Plawan's character, I though he did mature and become a bit less selfish and reckless. I finished it and enjoyed watching it, despite the actual story line being completely ridiculous.
This was an enjoyable watch. Like a warm cup of tea on a rainy day. Not a lot of angst. Just a feel good romance centered around an awesome group of friends. There wasn't really any plot to talk about, nor was there much in the way of character development. We got a very quick back story of a couple of them, but that's it. It was just like a comfortable growth of relationships. I did want more of Chain/Pun and less of Q/Toey though.
I have to be honest, I didn't really get that they liked each other in a romantic way, so I'm glad it ended the way it did with them taking time to be on their own first. I could see where they could have a relationship, but at the time it felt more like desperation and loneliness.
This was beautiful! It might be my favorite show of the year if not ever. It was so emotional and beautifully shot. I loved seeing the sibling realtionship and then watching how it changed for both of them. The acting was incredible and the soundtrack was as well. Really every aspect of this drama melded together to make a complete experience. It also has one of the most beautiful love scenes I've ever seen in a bl. I actually hesitate to put the label of BL on this because it's really so much more than that. It's a family drama, coming of age, slice of life romance. Loved it!
I actually enjoyed this quite a bit. The story was good and the chemistry between the leads was good. However, the acting could have been better. I think Kimmon is the best actor here, just like he was in his previous series A Secretly Love. It would be nice to see him in a series (main role, or not) with other more verteran actors. I liked the message that is was saying and it wasn't being subtle about it. As cute and enjoyable as this was though, every episode felt like it was about 10 minutes too long
I don't have a problem with the acting so far. I was just saying I feel like I've been seeing this type of character a lot - the socially awkward, inept guy and it's getting a little tiring. That doesn't mean I won't give this a chance.
I've enjoyed the first 40 episodes, but trying watch is an exercise in frustration. I'm holding off on the rest until I have enough coins to watch the rest all at once.
I mostly enjoyed this first episode, but honestly I'm starting to get a little tired of the super awkward, anxious characters and this seems like it's going to be an extreme case.
This was just ok for me and I think it really just boils down to the length of the series. I don't think there was enough time for them to flesh out the relationship in either the past or the present so I found it hard to actually feel their connection.
I was looking forward to this because the story sounds cute, but I don't understand the need for two languages. Why is that such a major point when he's the only one speaking Thai? And he works in Korea as an actor and can't even great others in the language or use basic sayings in everyday conversation? Also, if you're going to have 15 minute episodes, the story needs to pick up the pace. Four episodes, and they haven't even officially met yet. And the makeup! Idk why Korean series now have these young men wearing such obvious heavy, pale makeup with the shiny pink lip but please stop. And it especially is not working on Mew, sorry to say. I don't feel one way or the other about Mew (some people hate him, some people love him), but I don't think his acting here is all that great. Though I appreciate it's probably really hard to be using a different language from everyone else (another reason this idea is stupid).
I like whoever is playing his manager. I think he's doing an awesome job! My favorite character.
This was more of a short than a series, but I really enjoyed it. I would love to see it fleshed out more, but nothing was really missing. People are conflicted about whether it was an open ending or not and I think it was. I don't think there is any doubt that Dong Ho is the one who walked through the door, but I do think their current relationship is unknown. When Hyun changed what was written on the note, the colors changed. This led ME to believe that this is what he would do if he could do it all over again. We don't know if the two are still only friends, or if something more has happened.
I'm finally able to really start this and I'm up to episode 8. The story is interesting and I really want to know what's going on, but there are a couple things that irk me tbh. The constant back and forth of Babe and Charlie is not exciting for me, it's irritating. Does this pattern of mistrust and then getting back together so easily keep going? Also, the fight scenes. I'm sorry, but I just can't take them seriously. I feel like they needed more workshop time spent on that than any intimacy, because no help needed in that department! The actors are doing a great job and have chemistry together be it lovers/friends/brothers/enemies or whatever. They've hooked me for sure and I'll watch the rest so I can see the final episode next week.
I loved this series, but I kind of wish Mhok wasn't the only one who apologized during their reconciliation. Yes, he should be sorry that he pitied Day, But, I also think Day should be sorry to Mhok for not aknowledging HIS trauma about losing his sister and his fear of losing Day.
I can't decide if I actually want Night and Dream to end up together or not. On one hand they both obviously love each other, but on the other hand neither one of them seem to be in the right head space for a long lasting romantic relationship.
