It feels like the drought might finally be coming to an end. Rumors about her next drama projects are starting to circulate, and they all seem to be modern ones:
🍉 1) “The Queen of Brilliance”
Synopsis:
Zhou Tian Na, a controversial star in the entertainment industry, is at the peak of her career, but her marriage to Liang Che is falling apart. Refusing to stay trapped, she pushes through past trauma and present challenges. Instead of breaking her, everything she’s endured only makes her stronger.

Synopsis:
Wang Yunna returns to Hong Kong after being away for seven years. By chance, she meets Zuo Wensi, a designer, who invites her to be his model, and the two soon fall in love.
When Wang Yunna’s father falls seriously ill, he hopes they can get married as soon as possible, and Zuo Wensi agrees. However, at that moment, Wang Yunna’s former lover reappears, this man is none other than Teng Haiqi, Zuo Wensi’s brother-in-law.
Wang Yunna was once Teng Haiqi’s mistress. She had even planned to die together with him, but failed to kill him. Because of her, Teng Haiqi no longer dares to approach women and instead turns his attention to his brother-in-law, Zuo Wensi. Meanwhile, Wang Yunna is constantly haunted by nightmares.

A coming-of-age story centered on female growth and self discovery (no detailed synopsis yet).

Ofc, these are all still rumors for now, so take everything with a grain of salt until we get official confirmation.

She’s still in her vacation era. Earlier, she mentioned she might start filming in Q2, around June or July.

They will start recording s14 from March 25 ~29.

She won’t begin filming any dramas until June, as she’s currently on a break due to health reasons and contract conditions..her next drama is most likely a modern drama, any casting rumours for now are all mostly fake + she said days ago that she has one script which she likes and is in negotiation process for now..

Xixi Pictures is trying to persuade her to take on their productions, reportedly offering three historical dramas and one period drama so far.
There are also talks about potential modern and urban drama, along with rumors that she might debut in movies through guest appearances.
As of now, nothing has been officially confirmed, and likely need to wait for her April schedule, it’s nice to see her resting and enjoying her vacation to the fullest ☺️

Her schedule for March is packed with ads and variety show filming but nothing about a new drama yet. She previously mentioned that she would begin a new drama around April, but nothing has been officially confirmed yet given the uncertainty surrounding her contract status, it’s possible that this could take more time at most till mid year.

So far from the trailer, it looks like it's a thriller-focused drama, romance will just be a side element /bonus.
