i really like seeing ppl so invested in this show lol kinda enjoy seeing ppl pissed, some acknowledging the flaws but still enjoying it and some just enjoying the rollercoaster of emotions this drama brings (like me lol) since this is also an og script, it rlly makes me look forward to the new eps bc it's always a surprise. i think i'll be sad when this ends :( i hope it reaches 10k heat index soon though.
yes, the script is changing but key scenes will still happen one way or another. if you pay attention, sym does realize that the script is changing and she questions them but as soon as she realizes that, the key scenes in the script just drops right infront of her. it's like the scriptwriter is telling her she can't escape from her fate (of dying because of nan heng). i get that it's frustrating to watch sym reject nh over and over again but with her now knowing li shiliu was nan heng, i feel like that was a slap on her face- that she's in a script world where she can't change anything.
edit: i personally don't think it's draggy, tbh. sym tried to change the script many times (the wedding, meeting nh, the fire at the lantern festival, etc) but did she end up changing anything? no. i don't remember where i saw it but a comment said that it's like sym is being gaslighted by the scriptwriter and i would agree lol a lot of things are changing, but in sym's perspective, the script stays the same. so i can't really blame her for rejecting nan heng.
i've never been so attached to an actor before until this man 🫠i really hope the best for liu yuning and may his career flourish even more. he deserves more positivity in life.
I tried watching A Drama Within Dream because a lot of people said it’s funny, but honestly, it’s not that…
damn, we can't even have different tastes? just bc you didn't like it doesn't mean it's not worth the hype lol there are things people enjoy while others don't and that's okay.
