I loved Perfect Marriage Revenge more and loved this one as well but I dont need to bring this drama down in order to praise the first one, you get me? Lets just enjoy what we like without spoiling others preferences.
A place to return to is incredible. This was the message this drama tried to impart from episode 1. It was never about her revenge, no matter how much many viewers wanted it to focus on it. It was about maturing and realizing that no matter how far we run away, in the end we all scurry back to the comfort of home, the people who know every curve of us, the lines on our skin.
What a lonely life many of us live, day in day out in the corporate world. We end up forgetting that home, where we shed off the tiredness and masks that we wear, must never be taken for granted.

Please please I beg all of you to give this drama a try despite all the negative comments. You wont regret it, I promise. Its set in a time period that is long gone and therefore we shouldn't try to judge it within the time we live in currently (re: CP and his pairing). Lets enjoy it for what it is; FICTION.
This was one of my comfort shows for 2023 and I will miss it dearly. My favorite secondary pairing for a kdrama belongs to this show!
Rowoon had no business being this funny! I honestly binge watched this after all episodes came out and had no regrets. it was fresh and fun and took me out of my kdrama slump. Did it break the mold? No. But was it refreshing and engaging? Yes.
The leads had good chemistry and it was honestly well done to the point where I kept wanting to watch the next episode immediately.
Just saying there is a reason why it ended on the shows highest ratings. Maybe give it a watch instead of relying on MDL's reviewers. Not everyone likes the same cup of tea.
