Does the ranking determine what role you play in the group? For example, if someone is ninth, do they get the fewest lyrics in a song? I'm not familiar with K-pop, this is the first Korean survival show I've watched. Because if that's the case, that's pretty bad.

Well, maybe that's what Mnet wanted, but it didn't work. Matthew's votes are down 45% in Korea and 25% internationally. I hope you're right and he makes his debut, but I don't think he will unfortunately.

I think Mnet would like to see PHanbin replace Matthew in the top 9 and I'm not happy about that. I like Park Hanbin, but I'd rather him come in for Gyuvin or Yu Jin.

I couldn't understand it either, because there was no English subtitles, maybe that's why I was paying more attention to their facial expressions, movements, tone of voice, etc. But it could also be that they were just very tired and I'm wrong with my intuition.

This is just my opinion: It was an interesting pajamas party. I saw the second half. It was extremely awkward, interrupted by some cute moments.
Everyone was featured 1-2 times, but basically the two MCs (Park Hanbin and Geum Joon Hyun), Keita, Gyuvin, Yu Jin, Ricky and Hui had bigger roles. You can see that Mnet is confident in the debut of Hao, SHanbin, Taerae and Jiwoong and is pushing for the others (Park Hanbin Keita Gyuvin, YuJin), to be on the team. That's pretty disheartening.
There were very few Jay, Matthew, Kamden, Gunwook, Jongwoo moments to be seen.
Would have been nice to see a pillow fight or see videos sent in by fans. It was a waste to waste so much time on this. You could see they were tense, nervous. They were acting so weird with each other, not really laughing.
Maybe they feel it's over soon, but it was still very frustrating to watch. I didn't like how they reacted to each other's words. I'm not going to name names but watching it you get the sense that they know roughly who is going to be in the top 9 and they behaved differently with them, they were much nicer to them...etc.
I feel very uncomfortable now. They didn't show the midterm rankings either, which suggests that Mnet is probably happy with the current lineup and avoiding panic voting.

Matthew for the jelly pop killing part is perfect though (Park Hanbin is good too). The rest of the team needs to improve their facial expressions if they want to perform this song convincingly. It's a fun song, not a death march. They are too serious. I hope everything will work out perfectly for them on Thursday.

I love Matthew, he's my only pick, but even I admit he's not fit to lead.

The end is coming 🙃 😄. It doesn't matter which trainee's fans you are, because the next 8 days are going to be tough on all forums (youtube, twitter, reddit...etc). Sometimes it's actually punishable (legally) what they do. I try to ignore the comments. I vote. That's all I can do.

Taerae has a strong Korean voting camp. Matthew unfortunately has less chance of making into the Top9. But I don't want to sway you in either direction. I would decide based on which of them you can't imagine the top 9 without at all. For me, it's Matthew.

A hypocritical company. I find it outrageous that 23 teams were kicked off the show, which of course "left on its own", but were in fact forced to leave. I will not be watching this show anymore.

I understand you. You have a favorite, I guess it's probably Zhang Hao or Jay. Everyone has a favorite, I'm a Matthew fan. I've had a hard time these last few weeks. But this is a show that ends in two weeks. I won't follow the group if Matthew is not in it either, because I'm personally interested in his life story within the group. You can't be bitter about everything that happens. People make mistakes all the time and learn from them, that's how we evolve, or at least that's how it happens for the majority of us. 18-20 year olds who are going to change a lot. They're tired, they're under a lot of stress and a lot of them have a lot of hate in the online world because of what fans think and make up. It would be a lot for an adult 30-40 year old to go through what they are going through.
I'm European and maybe that's why I'm more accepting of behaviour. I prefer trainees who do have emotions, express them and have character. I know this is not so accepted in the Asian culture of behaviour. That's why I like Matthew, Keita, Haruto, Gunwook, Park Han Bin, Jong Woo, Geum Joon Hyun....ect. Actually all 28 trainees are very sympathetic to me and I would never write bad things about any of them, even if they do something stupid, because they have all done, said, thought similar things in their lives. Sorry this is a bit long.
