I was pleasantly surprised with this Jdrama so I rated it a 10/10. It's a simple slice of life story that holds a ton of meaning. I've never seen the male lead in other dramas before, but his acting was realistic and I loved the leads' chemistry. All of the characters, even the side characters, have heartwarming stories. Despite showing a few serious themes, it does so in a light-hearted manner that is not too heavy for the watcher. Even if it only had 25 minutes per episode, it imparted so many life lessons such as staying true to yourself, caring for your family and pets, voicing out your opinions, and never judging a book by its cover. I wish this drama becomes more popular because it's really worth the watch. I wish I could find more dramas like this.
I'm an ARMY so I'm kinda hesitant to watch this show, especially knowing that this was filmed before some of the…
What does your being an ARMY have anything to do with watching this? EXO's D.O. is one of the most critically-acclaimed actors in Korea. This doesn't have the best plot but I just want to know what your liking another group has to do with watching or not watching this show. Is that one of the rules of your fandom? Not support any other groups apart from your own?
Why are second male leads so lovable (e.g. Jisoo in every second lead role he has) but second female leads are utterly despicable and are just there to make the female lead's life a living hell?
I love him so much. I feel like he is one of the actors who aren't afraid to show their true selves despite the Korean entertainment industry that typically creates an image for both actors and idols. His acting is exemplary, and the roles he takes on are challenging and unusual. No wonder he was named one of the Best Actors of 2018 by New York Times.
It's great that he's vocal about social issues and his expresses himself through art. He is a versatile actor and I'm excited to see more of his projects.
