My Dangerous Wife (Japan) (2016) - I just watched this drama because of the on-going korean version that is currently airing. For a 9 episode drama, a lot happened. I must say I did enjoy the whole process but after watching this one, I am left with questions in my mind as to the female main lead, that is why I really want to watch the korean version for me to understand the drama, and maybe they would somehow elaborate more. Japanese dramas are really different from what I usually expect that is why I am amazed with this drama. The actors/actresses are well chosen, I find them convincing. Fully packed ang drama for me, there is always a significant activity per episode.

The Full-Time Wife Escapist Season 2 (Japan) (2021) – I didn’t know that there was a special episode or a season 2 of this drama. I like it much better than what I thought, I love the first season and this episode which continues the love story of the main leads and talks about COVID at the same time is very touching. It was short, but sweet and also made me learn a lot on what is really important especially family and love. Really happy that it pass by on my suggested list on Netflix. Great watch.

A Girl & Three Sweethearts/ Sukina Hito ga iru koto (Japan) (2016) - I really like that what I root for to be with the female lead is the one she chose in the end.

With not just one but three guys for a girl, I really, really felt good that the female chose his male lead. I felt the second male lead vibes with the guy but I was so wrong because he was really the main lead, I'm so happy.

Japanese dramas portrayal is really different that is why I find it both fun and hard at the same time. I have fond memories of this drama and I also like the ending of this.

Happy Marriage (Japan) (2016) - another Japanese drama that I watched because of my love for manga before (*high school times) so yeah I read it before I watched this and honestly I’m so confused since I am still starting Japanese dramas and in general, I find them a bit different with other countries dramas. Japanese drama in general, have a different type of pacing. I didn't feel the chemistry nor the romance in the drama compare to what I have read on the manga, maybe because I know how the story would go, maybe also that's why I don't find the drama enjoyable.

Fake Couple (Japan) (2015) - I like this drama though I did not watch this in one sitting. It has the Japanese vibes unto it as well, weird but an okay weird for me. Japanese dramas are totally different and I like that. With this one, they incorporate the humor that is japanese style.

I like the female lead character Hiro, and her character development in the drama. Japanese dramas for me have an impact though they are only a few episodes. I also like the editing of the drama, and the mini narration in the first part per episode to make me as a viewer remember what happened in the previous episodes. I cried as well, eventually there are sensitive topics that is tackled and it’s another brave move from a drama. Significant in the way of showing sensitive topics in the society which makes me feel different usually. My heart was moved. Fun drama with a lot of twists, especially near the ending episodes.

Full House (Thailand) (2014) - this remake of the Korean version is very nicely done. Both characters portraying the main lead are good at their crafts, although I did feel that they are too young for the roles/characters. I got the aura of the leads more on the teenager rather than mature vibe that I would want since they are both in the working age in the drama though I don't really know the age of the actors and actress. I think that was a drawback for me while watching this.

Still, I'm glad that they showcased the drama really well for a remake, the fun parts are there which was also highlighted in the OG drama.

Save The Last Dance For Me (2004) - one of the dramas that had a great impact in my life. One of the reasons why I started watching korean dramas is because of this drama. I did watch few clips on the local television back in the day with dubbed as Tagalog. I didn't watched the whole drama with the tagalog dubbed and so I made the effort to download and watch this drama first hand with english subtitles.

All the main leads are good here, acting wise. It really is a makjang drama so there are a lot of scenes that is really frustrating. Scenes of heartbreak is also emphasized in this drama and some scenes that I find questionable but while I was watching this, I felt nostalgic.

Find Me In Your Memory (2020) - I watch the drama for 4 episodes in then stopped since I can't find the reason or excitement watching it and I don't know where the story would eventually go to and I don't find the drama interesting.

I then eventually knew that it is suppose to be slow paced, so when I came to rewatch it, I realized what the story is all about and little by little they did show the sense of the story.

I really really like Jeong Hoon portrayed by Kim Dong Wook and he is so handsome and he is really great in acting out his role in the series. The one thing that I find disappointing is that I like the second couple more than the main leads romance.

Break Up Probation, A Week (2020) - It was so hard looking for english subtitles for this drama. I did find one that is why I'm happy that this drama is just short.

Both male and female leads are so awkward in acting that I had a hard time watching it. I did feel the intense part and also the story is really great. You could really see how much love they have for each other through their relationship, which was the way really long. But there were "off-putting" parts for me especially if it really is about "true love"

The ending is not what I expected but it's fine.

Kingdom 2 (2020) - the second season didn't disappoint. The story did gradually reveal some answers to the questions from the previous season and that is a plus for me as watcher, I like it.

The effects, the overall vibe of the drama speaks money and I could really see how much money was poured into the drama because it's so "rich-looking". The computer effects, make up and the scenes of the drama is so amazing as well. I was heartbroken with the plot twist in the drama, I cried.

I love the actors the same as the first season, great acting.

Looking forward to the next season.

Dalgona (2020) - very short drama revolving around school bullying.

I am not a fan of the acting, maybe because I find them all awkward. I am not familiar with the actors in the drama which is fine with me since it's a pretty short drama.

Finding the courage to fight back to the bullying is the main lesson of the drama but I think it was not thoroughly emphasized and the ending was kinda lacking as I am waiting for the ‘past friend’ to show up, and suddenly it diverted into a romance drama which for me was not supposed to be.

My Fuxxxxx Romance (2020) - this is really quite different to the typical Korean dramas I have seen. I think it speaks of a totally different world of romance but also a spark of reality. They portrayed a very different vibe to romance and talk about some ‘taboo’ themes which is very brave for a Korean drama. I thought I would only see it in a Japanese drama but I was wrong.

I don't know most of the actors in the drama, they are quite new faces for me and so the acting is kinda not that great. Still, it’s an okay drama for me.

Love Alarm (2019) - Kim So Hyun carried the drama.

For me, it is hard to see this drama in a serious light because I find myself struggling seeing the two main leads with their acting. They are both so awkward on the screen. I did finished the drama but I root more on Hye Yeong. I don't know if he is the second male lead or not since the season was not yet released.

The storyline is a bit too 'teenager' for my taste but I'm looking forward to the next season and see if I could relate since they would venture after the schooling part.

Penthouse: War in Life Season 2 (2021) - I felt relieve this time around since I already know how penthouse is done with it's makjang style/genre and what happened with the drama is over the top.

What I like about the season 2 is that the good side has been emphasized compared to the season 1 which just hurts my emotions because of all the bad things that is happening with the main leads.

Though this time around my excitement or to look forward to in season 3 is quite low. Season 2 came by so fast and I was not ready that it was just 13 episodes. Of course every episode there are revelations and Logan's scenes really lessened making me sad since his one of my favorite characters in the drama.

Penthouse: War in Life (2020) - I find the drama really ridiculous, I guess it gives out a makjang drama aura too much which was not what I am expecting. The drama has it’s own ups and downs, and I am hooked with how the drama turned out especially in the ending parts. I did got bored in the middle part, I think because the beginning was so intense that it looks like a joke to me as a watcher. I don’t really like the ending as well, and I guess they did it to look forward to the season 2.

The actors are really brilliant, but I’m not particularly impressed with Eun Byeul, I find her too much in the acting field but I think they did over emphasized her character. I find the drama messy as well in terms of pacing and all.
