For anyone who wants to know what happens - Niaoniao and Zhisheng will get close but Zhisheng will take revenge and be banished for 5 years, so they have to break the engagement, and during that time, she will get engaged to yuan, but she will break it off just when Zhisheng is about to return. Zhisheng thinks that she might've been already married during the time he is away but is surprised to find her waiting for him. They start a relationship again and finally get married etc... that is the gist! More angst and romance coming our way!

Definitely wait for part 2, she does get engaged to someone else in Part 1, but she's engaged to the ML by the end of part 2. Part 2 will develop more of their romance + more angst
They will probably announce when part 2 is airing on the coming tuesday/wednesday. Most likely in august after it finishes airing for the general public or they might do a different schedule for VIPs and release it earlier which I doubt will happen. But, I'm pretty sure they'll have an option for the express episodes near the end of season 2 similar to Dream of Splendor considering its popularity.
I feel like a lot of people are being negative here since this drama does not follow the usual trend of only having one bf... I feel like yumi's relationships are realistic, when you're dating you come across different people until you finally meet the one for you. I'm honestly here for the babi slander, hopefully he's not endgame
Just finished watching the entire drama. It did not disappoint me in any way, probably the best cdrama in a long time. I would highly recommend you to watch it!!
The chemistry & tension between the leads is so so good!! They storyline is fresh unlike a lot of historical c-dramas nowadays. Hopefully they can maintain this until the end.
