I have watched the first two episodes and I liked them, but am I the only one that is pissed that she is considered ugly? I mean, she is not super pretty, but she is average, just like most of us. She is not ugly in the webtoon either.
And what is annoying me the most is that her entire family raised her with the idea that she is ugly and the only thing she should have is her smarts, which she doesn't have either. When the old relatives were mentioning her face, her family did not protect her and I find this sad.
I started watching this because it's on Netflix, but I don't think it is for me. I reached episode 14 and I officially cannot stand the mothers. I just cannot understand how they can be that controlling with their adult kids. Making a divorce between their kids about them.
The four siblings' mother makes it seem like her kids happiness comes second after the way strangers perceives her. As long as her kids are married with blooming careers they are perfect, but as soon as they mess up they are backstabbing her and she is worried about what people on the street will think about her. Looks like it doesn't matter too much to her why her children make the choices they make.
I am truly sorry to put it at least on hold for now, but I don't really find it entertaining or relaxing to watch the episodes anymore.
That's why I was thinking too. Plus, the way they did her fake makeup (to make her look unattractive) is horrible,…
Don't forget that we are still talking about South Korea and people there seem very critical about physical appearance. Do you know an actress with skin problems that would feel comfortable to show herself like that?
Ok, so I really wanted to watch this because of spies and Yoo In Na... but the rating is so low and it's still airing. Is this still a spy drama at this point? How is it?
He pretended to be what for 5 years? O.o I still have a few episode to reach the end, but I don't mind spoilers.…
Ironically I think I dropped Private Lives at episode 12 as well. Loved the beginning then I started losing interest until I forgot that new episodes would appear. I just got lost in the story and details and characters.
And now I am nervous about "The Uncanny Counter" and I feel like I should lower my expectations just in case and wait for a few weeks.
But not all dramas are awful on Netflix because I ADORED "Mystic Pop-up Bar" this year and Itaewon Class.

I checked the last few minutes out of curiosity and NOPE! That is not an ok reaction. And if seems do out of character for the sweet Jun.
I am on episode 12, but I started losing interest as soon as Jun's mother found him. I think I will leave it like that. I don't want all the drama and I will just embrace the first 12 episode as the light drama that I was looking for.
With this I don't even know if I want to check other Netflix dramas because I also dropped Private Lives even though I loved the first few episodes.
I guess I will wait for them to end instead of committing weekly to a drama that I might end up disliking.
Thank you for this review. I have purposely looked for a spoiler for episode 16 and ... oh boy!!!
I started watching this because it was light drama and a comedy. I am not eager to watch the breakup and all the following stories. And I am so disappointed that the drama shifted from light and funny to melodrama.
Ya'll... I just realised... Jun has been lying to Ra-ra from beginning to end. 1. The fact that he was DDSSLLS…

Pretenting to be dead for 5 years and then getting back as if nothing happened is messed up. And I am so disappointed because Jun was one of those ML that I enjoy: nice, funny and .... well until one point I thought that he was honest.

I don't understand why they wrote him like that.
Is Jun sick?
