Story: I watched because I'm attached to the anime and the characters. Oryo being in it is just a bonus (and somehow I see myself watching more Yamazaki Kento movies). But since it's a gag LA adaptation of a gag anime, we shouldn't expect much and things aren't supposed to make sense. Also apparently it's the same director as the Gintama movies, and somehow you can notice the likeness in scenes and pacing. For me though it would be better if there were less moments about Hairo--just my biasedness talking here--and the pacing were kind of dull at times. I did find Oryo moments funny though.
Overall: It's OK, I don't find myself re-watching it at all. Once you've seen the joke one time, that's it. Though I don't think I've wasted my time watching it, it's a great eye-candy movie, so thank you for the great casting.

Takeru Satoh is awesome, and so is Sei Shiraishi. The script can go f itself
Bear with me, the last J-drama I watched was Hatsukoi (First Love), and even though it also suffers the same fate as most Japanese dramas of overly very happy ending, and albeit having a very cliche plot (amnesia), the script and characters were more realistic and relatable.I dont get why other dramas cant get on the same level and suffer with overly genki characters with little concern for realism. Are these the usual conversations Japanese dads tell their daughters (epi1)? Really? Is everyone this genki at work? I know there’s a concept of tatemae but this is over the top and seriously just cringe. There’s a really fine line between tatemae and cringe, and other dramas are able to balance that out. Is this the work of an amateur script writer?
It doesnt help that the main actress here I find that her acting is abysmally poor. This is honestly the first time that I cant stand a main character. It doesnt help her case that the script is so bad. Remind me to check the cast before I watch any J-drama in the future (I’ll be sure to check the script writer too).
The only other thing that saved this drama is the main villain’s character. Her actress also performed really well. However, the lack of backstory honestly felt a bit disappointing, and how she even became a “naturally” evil human being suffered because of that.
I dont know, the first half had me, the latter part just has too many wtf moments.
I need to remind myself to avoid this drama’s script writer and the main actress.

Tried watching it for LJG
I really wanted to continue watching it. Maybe I can pick it up later again, and writing a review for a show I did not finish may not be appropriate, but let me just say I want to watch this for LJG, but him acting all cool makes it look uncool. I think the character role does not suit him at all and it is very hard to watch this coming from Flower of Evil. Also, I am not a super fan of law drama (I prefer sageuk) so yeah I already have my biases even before I started. This is the least hooking first episode I have ever watched.
