Hey Josie1220, I don't think MDL lists dramas, shows or movies from Vietnam yet. They only have shows, movies, dramas listed from Thailand, phillippines, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan listed on MDL.

I wouldn't have read it if I knew about TV adaptation.

I liked this short series.

I loved the sisters stories. And slo Jae shin and Hyo joo's story too.

Maybe it sounds similar to you because of the drama name? Since ayodhaya is a city in Ramayan too. But these two are definitely not connected. The Ramyana is literary work whereas Sri Ayodhaya is based on history around 1760 AD. Historically, thailand and India have had economic interactions. Also Buddhism spread to Thailand from India that is probably the main reason between the similarities between the two histories. Some festivals and traditions are similar most likely because of that.
