The drama itself is very good and the plot is interesting, but because of the bad translation I had to try very hard to understand what they were saying at all. I'll think the rating 8/10 is quite accurate and fair.

Well... damn! What an amazing drama. I really enjoyed watching this kind of drama. It wasn't slow paced, quite opposite actually. With every new episode you was left with another cliffhanger and you could feel, not only see, but actually feel the emotions that accompanied the characters. I don't think there will be another season. I think that the story is complette and I have some theories for that, but I let it only to myself. It was beautifull journey and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Well... damn!!! I've watched a lot dramas, but this one is just beyond my expectations. I don't know how others think, but in my opinion in most (ecpecially chinese) dramas are too much so-called "fake" scenes that just aren't realistic. For example, in almost every other drama, the female lead falls over and, falling down, kisses the main male lead. Or when the fl has a rival who tries to break the relationship at all costs, because she has a crush on ml for a long time. In this drama you could see more realistic situations, which could happen to anyone in real life, like imprisonment, parent's disease, sacrifice for loved ones, "real" marriage issues, betreyal and much more. This drama has more sad than happy moments, but it's real. You are smiling with the characters when they are happy and also crying with them, just like if their story was yours. I highly recommend this drama, it is a pity that the score is so understated.

Well, I have to say that this is one of the best drama in recent years. Both the main characters and the other actors did a great job. A beautiful story with humorous threads made me look forward to the next episode. I must admit that I was afraid of a sad ending, like in many other dramas of this genre, fortunately I was wrong. I hope there will be more productions like this in the future. Summing up, the emperor was the best :)

I hope so. I love Zhao Lu Si, but I think Wu Xuan Yi played her role very well and they shouldn't replace her.

Pretty cool drama in my opinion. The plot of this drama is different from the others, which makes it stand out. I'd like to watch another season.
