exactly! I loved SITR but the "happy" reunion at the end felt so half-assed to me TT

they did, but I was so hung up on the fact that in the end they weren't able to fight past the rigid societal stigmas, like their relationship ultimately wasn't accepted so even though they got back together in the end, those issues weren't readdressed. whereas here in OSN they did it! which just made it so much more of a wholesome happy ending! ^^

thank god this had a happy ending! was so worried the writers might pull another Something in the Rain ending on me. I loved the whole process of watching this, would’ve been downright devastated

hahahaha it kept bothering me the first time I heard it! "where have I heard this? where?!?!?!" I think it's just harmless song sampling, a lot of other famous pop songs do this all the time too! I've also seen this happen in a few CN drama OSTs!
