did they cut the 8 eps due to new regulation that limits number of drama eps to 40?
Well it's not new regulation per se, because they always cut those. But indeed, from around April, some changes were made, that's why for example some titles are split to parts etc. and limits of episodes, become even more strict, even for online dramas.
On Tencent watched up to episode 32 on Sunday. The other episodes up to 40 were listed. But today 33-40 are missing.…
Please check the new schedule. New episodes started airing now Thursday - Sunday. Also drama already is uploaded in other platforms, with all eps, because of the Express Pack, and people uploaded those already.

Dunno if it was even subbed fully. Still YT has only 4 episodes, and we have months, after drama finished airing. So sadly, maybe someone simple dropped it with subbing, and nobody picked it up
Well the title has some up's and down's. For sure imo last 10 ep should go out lol. They didn't added much to the story. Overall it was decend story but imo too dragged in many places. Also imo to much toxic crap at once - social pressure to get married, toxic ex, toxic girlfriend of her ex lol; and bunch of psychos here and there. And indeed Wu Fei seems to be the dumbest of them all - psychotic, insecure with spineless boyfriend. It was also sad, how she was projecting a lot, and didn't get, how much she emasculate Tao Jun, making him a joke. Also testing her BF all the time, isn't also a good way, to build stronger bond.
But also Tao Jun was a ...maybe creep it's too much, but i din't really liked how he was behaving. But to be fair, Qin Shi also was sending him sometimes mixed signals. Also Yao Yao's story and meddling with main couple - meh, i would kick it also.
Anyway, i was waiting for this drama, from the day, when it was annouced, and i must say i was dissapointed. I was hoping for more - more romance, interesting dramas, law part etc. and i have impression, that in the middle, title simple become flat in many places. Little sad.
not complaining but why did they release all the episodes?they need to do that for reborn rich....
It's lately style of chinese airing schedule - they added so called "Speed Watching" where you can buy last XYZ episodes earlier to watch. And that's why we change the date. And yes, it's not Korean drama, and it has nothing to do how they schedule things in Korea.
Did this movie participate in BIFF? What's that "Festival" means in the Description?
That means, that Movie first aired on movie festival, it musn't be Asian one. Some movies airs first for example in Cannes etc. And that way people can also tick titles , if they were there. And the second is Asian premier.
