This says it's on Hulu, but no matter what country I try for my VPN I can't find it. Does anyone know if it's even actually on there? And if so, how do I find it?
I’m a little surprised that no one here seems to be bothered by the trauma bonding. It’s so extremely manipulative!…
I literally came here for comments like this bc I'm so icked-out by Hua Yong's actions. Am I seriously supposed to be rooting for him??? The only reason I keep watching is for Gao Tu's storyline.
I'm only on episode 8, but I have to rant for a sec. They have Wayne Sung as the antagonist, and when he told someone off camera that "they can finally be together" i was so curious. Then i freaking see Huang juanzhi, and I was gagged. I was extatic. I was like, yes, they can finally be together ❤️ (if you don't know what I mean, go watch, make our days count, and cry too). I was happy for all of five seconds because then Wayne Sung's character dies, and I'm left holding the pieces of my shattered heart in my hand. Whay kind of a sick joke was that?? I demand compensation!!
It's crazy how much Kang Yoo Seok looks like Park Jimin in this drama.
I feel so freaking validated! This is what i thought when i watched this 2 years ago, and i just finished watching it again and i was still thinking that he looked like jimin.. though in some angles he also looks like jongho from ateez
Strange as hell.. I like the title sequence Lol.. Minato from Cherry Magic is in this CRAZY! For some reason that didnt click for me until i looked it up here.. he looks drasticly better with dark hair
I have a major love hate relationship with this show bc I'm absolutely obsessed with it, but at the same time I'm absolutely flabergasted at the lack of screen time for the ACTUAL MAIN COUPLE OF THE SHOW. Even when they were technically dating towards the end it was still the Shin Daon show, somehow. like? Can poor Shinwoo catch a break plz?? I think for that reason even tho i was rooting for Shinwoo and Taekyung to end up together, it felt very foced to me. From everything leading up to the last episode it was super clear that Taekyung still likes Daon. I think it was the writer trying to create tention and suspense, but it honestly felt like he settled to me considering he barely showed any interest in Shinwoo the whole show. Idk maybe it's just me. Shinwoo was the better choice by a mile, so at least boy's got some common sense.
Very strange.. i went through the entire series upset with it bc kiyoi is manipulative, and Hira is honestly creep as hell. i thought i hated everything about this toxic mess... but you know i finished it and i cried like a baby.. for kiyoi!!! Something about his story by the end just felt too raw and real and tragic and his pleading to Hira to not love the idealized unattainable fantasy but to just see /him/ and love /him/ was just to much.. i love it . Honestly though, If you're gonna watch this show, know that both of them have some major issues and they are both toxic as hell to eachother. If that's not for you i'd say skip it.
I've been avoiding this bc of how much i disliked Oxygen (also not to mention I'm kinda triggered by ghost boyfriend storylines at this point), but from Nut's first scene on I'm honestly shocked it's the same person. He looks totally different to me here, as well. Which i think has everything to do with the fact he actually emotes in this show! I love Dream she's too cool, and I really appreciate the ominous mystery thriller/romcom mash-up. It's original and interesting, and when i first started watching I was literally thinking that this show is gonna have a serious identity crisis, but somehow it's not as awkawrd and jarring as i thought it was going to be.
They lost me after Tue got sick. Like one moment he's suddenly bed ridden, and can barely sit up to take medicine. The next he looks fine, standing in the middle of the street talking to Kong and Ake, but somehow needs to go to the hospital, but out of no where Ake refuses to take him. At this moment I legit thought I missed somthing it literally seemed like entire scenes were cut out like did they fight? How is Tue standing rn? Then the bike scene.. what even was that? Then Tue is back to being bed ridden, and they don't even explain what he has... my vote is chicken pox.. they randomly refrence some scene they didn't include bc Ake says somthing like "i told you I've had it before" but where is that scene???? There are very obvious chunks missing from this story, and it drives me nuts. I was even willing to look past the instantaneous mood shift after the "kiss", but I can't get over the shitty editing and story gaps! I hope the rest of the stories aren't like this.
I... I.. I get a period peice? And it's in korean, so I get to practice my listening comprehension? I feel so blessed ? (granted i probably shouldn't practice listening comprehension with a period peice, but that's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it)
So I just finished episode 4 , and I am endlessly frustrayed with Teh. I haven't liked his character the whole show, and I was hoping he'd get better. He is so selfish and arrogant. Even when he thinks he's doing something nice for Oh, it just never feels genuine, and kind of self serving. I don't know how I'm supposed to root for this couple to end up together when he's constantly walking all over Oh. Oh, on the other hand, has been nothing but patient and kind to him, and honestly deserves better. I know this is just a show. I shouldn't get so worked up, but I wish the main protagonist was as more deserving of the great acting and cinematography because this show is stunning.
I'm excited to see Tong in this!
