Wow, episode 7 was really good! At first this show started in a quite typical way, with the Alzheimer's storyline, the only thing that made me stick with this show is Lee Sung-min to be honest.
But it really gets better with every episode. I loved that Taeseok adressed that stupid poster at the meeting, I loved how he stood up for his son and the way the writers approached the bullying topic. His whole speech was brilliant.
When him and his wife were talking about his illness so casually, I couldn't believe I was watching a kdrama? I thought that there will be so much drama and crying when she finds out but instead they were mature and talked about it calmly.
I'm 5 episodes in and I toootally love how they're showing different cases instead of focusing on just one. Many people seemed to be shocked when Hwaseong serial murders were solved in the 4th ep but I found it so refreshing. I thought this case will be the main focus of the drama, too. But when they are showing a lot of different cases you can feel the suspense all the time and the plot's process is really fast, and the cases have a connection with our characters. Unlike other dramas which focus on only one case for most eps... like Gapdong and Pride and Prejudice, they got really draggy after some eps in my opinion.
This is too confusing! Pls if anyone understands what happened in ep 2 explain to me. Is he connected to the past?…
That's how I understood it: Lee Jae Han kept PHY's words in mind and kept searching near the station for the next possible murder. That way, he found the 9th victim before she died and this way, 9th murder never occured because he saved the girl at the last moment and she didn't die. It was hard to understand indeed... especially when I saw all their notes changing but couldn't understand how they changed as I don't know Korean...
This drama honestly had some amazing moments in the start but I'm still disappointed. I don't know how will the last episode turn out, but they made Deoksun a girl who falls for everyone that confesses to her and Junghwan the pitful one who was holding his feelings back for 19 episodes like an idiot without confessing, that's honestly so frustrating.
Seeing how they treated Chilbong in R1994, I'm starting to think that nobody hates the Reply characters more than the writer herself.
What a mess! Honestly, I don't even care how the last ep will turn out. The writer & PD made a fool out of their…
YES! Honestly I'm still not 1000% sure that Taek is the husband because if they went that far to troll everyone then it's possible that in the last 3 eps they tried to convince everyone that TK is the husband and make it Junghwan in the end... but it doesn't matter to me anyway, either ways the story is ruined. If they make JH the husband at the last minute then it'll really suck, I don't think Deoksun will ever be able to love JH as much as he loved her all these years. They should make Dongryong the husband while they're at it.
What a mess! Honestly, I don't even care how the last ep will turn out. The writer & PD made a fool out of their viewers. 18 episodes were about JH's one-sided love and now all of the story shifts to Taek?
Is it because of the writer's never-ending thrist for ratings? I have nothing against TK being the husband but there are so many plot-holes now and it just doesn't make sense.. I just can't understand why is the story written like that. Up to 14 episode it was really nice, seriously one of the best dramas last year, they could have make JH confess for real in today's episode, then make DS respectfully reject Taek's feelings and that ending would make most of the viewers happy! I don't know why they choose this road and get so much hate when they could just end it simply and everyone would love it.
This is just a waste of my time. If they make Taek the husband then the story just won't make sense (if they were planning it from the start, why did they make the story Junghwan-centered and gave so many hints about him being the husband, we could see Deoksun likes him too!) and if they make Junghwan the husband then it'll be even more ridiculous after today's episode!
Suddenly Deoksun realizes Junghwan is the love of her life?! WTH? I just CAN'T understand why they made such a mess out of the plot when they could have given a simple ending, do they just want their viewers to feel like they wasted 20 hours of their lives or want to get the highest rating possible?
So many people were saying that Reply 1994 was messy but I still love it much more than this season. At least both male leads were given equal chances, we were aware of Najung's feelings since the first episode and Najung respected the second-lead's feelings.
Am I the only one who finds Ahn Nae Sang absolutely fantastic in this show? Well, it's a great drama overall but his character and his acting is one of the main points why I loved this show so much. When I googled him, I realized that he's been in so many shows I watched, but never paid attention as he was just a supporting character or somebody's father... I really hope he starts getting some better roles from now on because his charisma and acting were definitely outstanding in this drama.
Oh so that's him! LOL I thought my eyes are betraying me because I was like 'I swear this guy looks exactly like Lee Jae Joon' but couldn't find any article on him having a role in this show. Is he a cameo or something?
Miss Korea PD, it sounds awesome, it's on tvN and Byun Yo Han is courted for the lead role? Can it get any better? Now just give me a good female lead and I'll cry out of happiness.

doesn't seem enough for me.
