There is nothing unedited among reality TV or in anything that you see on a screen for that matter. Even a documentary is scripted and edited to get the desired impression. Whenever something has to be presented in the public domain it is scripted and regulated, irrespective of the genre or the type of content it is. Without decent editing no one can risk the consequences of the availability of content to the general audiences.
There is basic scripting & editing involved in all of the Reality Shows, but it's not the way you think, they don't get a script they have to follow, they follow their own words and actions the tricky part is just that the directors will manipulate the places and times to make it less simple it's important to create tension and excitement in the show and editing helps to trim the trivial and unengaging parts of the show so no it's not scripted to the point where they are all actors who follow a storyline but it is indeed put together in such a way, they cut a lot of things as well.
