All that Vegas knew his whole life was to hurt, kill and destroy. Everything up until Pete, was just pure survival instinct. His weapons were his only reliance so that brings me to the pool scene, If you look closely you'll see that, in the pool scene, you can see the struggle when he holds that gun up to his throat, he wants his weapon to set him free but no, it doesn't work because now violence is no longer his freedom but Pete is. The transfer of dependency from his gun onto Pete is something hard to do but he eventually accepts it.

So I gave it some thought and at first when Korn gave the minor family ring to Porsche, I was so fucking angry and still am because Porsche doesn't have the capacity of leading a whole mafia clan. His knowledge is limited, he's lacking a lot of traits. On the other hand Vegas was born for this job, he lived his whole life preparing for it, so he is the BETTER choice.

But then I realised that Porsche is now trapped in a prison and the one who got out is Vegas, he doesn’t have to answer to anybody but Porsche and Kinn are locked in the mafia world while Vegas and Pete are free
