i understand where it was coming from.its the mafia world. You betray the main family you are DEAD. DEAD.VEGAS…
Even so, Porsche does not deserve that title and it was given to him out of a "kissing ass " strategy because he has absolutely no idea how to lead in the mafia world. It takes years to find that one out but that's just my view
Am I the only one who is happy that we didn't get venice? I think that Vegas and Pete need time to focus on themselves and rebuild each other and a baby is just a lot of effort, they would start neglect their relationship quite a lot in order to take care of a child and I just need them to experience their love a bit more before parenting uk?
there's no doubt that kim killing people while chay was playing video games was iconic and it will definitely…
I think Kim knew that that if he wanted or not, Chay was now part of this world and if he didn't toughen up fast, he wouldn't survive it, no matter the help on his side so that's why he left those bodies behind. Chay is still so young and they both need to find themselves separately before coming together as one but the one thing I can't understand is why the fuck is kim unable to just be with him? š he's already part of mafia so it's not like he can keep him out of this environment
We can't deny that we witnessed the brilliancy of Korn and Kan, they are both fascinating. In reenactment of Nampheungs ādeathā, I didnāt believe Kan at all. It felt so out of the character to see him so distraught but since I read the book it was impossible not to raise doubts upon Korn. Thinking about it now, considering all the abusive shit he put Vegas through and the vicious way he's being represented it's not hard to think he's the ultimate villain but Kornās actions seem dubious at best. And while he compels me to trust him with all his false little behavior, it's not enough to make it believable, it feels like it was all planned out a little bit too perfect but the one thing that he was unprepared for was Pete.
Even though Pete loves the major family it is clear to him that his loyalties have shifted completely towards Vegas. And even though Pete says heāll be always be "loyal" to korn, we all know that's not true and so does korn. Pete's feelings are amplified each passing day he spends with Kan's son so let's think about it, he might have been honest at first but now that he grows to love Vegas more and more, things are changing because if there is a slight moment where anyone from the major family even attempts to kill Vegas, Pete will riot in the worst way possible -- against kinn, porsche and everyone involved and to prove this, take a look at the pool scene. Pete did not even hesitate while murdering a coworker and possibly a friend for hurting the one he loves, if anyone touches Vegas pete will be a ticking bomb.
So Pete has become another unpredictable person Korn needs to eliminate from the game and that makes me wonder wherever he is the one who sent that bodyguard to shot Vegas in order to prove that Pete does in fact love Vegas more than he is loyal to them but with all this, korn is maintaining the facade but now he has stopped playing chess, because this is no longer enough to contain his ambitions. He has moved onto playing chess with humans and Pete must be taken out, now I can only theorize he will try to kill him in the near future and I can't wait to see Vegas burn them all down for it.
Now I'd also like to mention that in my opinion Nampheung isnāt suffering from memory loss and that sheās acting for Porsche and Chayās safety. Her slight expression changes when Chay and Porsche hugged her which indicates her awareness. There is a lot to unfold here.
VEGAS PETE
Let's make something clear, Pete chose vegas for nobody but himself, it wasn't out of selflessness it was all about selfishness. His only moral compass is himself in this situation. For the first time in forever he followed his happiness religiously, this was the core of Pete's decision. It was never about Vegas's needs, it was solely about what Pete needs, we saw bits of it in the past few episodes and in the last part it was finally confirmed, we witnessed Pete put himself above anyone else. Vegas proved Pete that he can be his happiness but it was an unsure thing at first that's why Pete escaped and only goes to him after the shoot out because that's when Vegas voiced his feelings.
Now it's important for Vegas to acknowledge this as well. He needs to know that Pete will only follow his own heart which calls out for one person only but at the same time it's okay to not say " I love you " back yet, like he said he's following his heart but he is allowed to figure that out completely on his own and in his own time. We have to remember that Peteās biggest character trait is his own persona, whatever pete chooses when it comes to vegas it's HIS own autonomous choice.
Now let's talk about the sweet reference of food. The only person in the world who can feed him is Vegas, he full files Pete with every part of him, it doesn't matter if it's violence, sex or tenderness, all of Vegas is deliciously addicting to Pete, he will take anything that the devil has to give. When he says "You ran away, so I had to follow my owner" we finally realize that the only person who truly sees him is Vegas. He touched him so deeply that he can only follow him and be with him, no one else is worth of it. And this is shown again when he says "Can you turn around and look at me?" If Pete doesn't have Vegas then he doesn't have anyone, he gave up everything to be with him and now that person is turning his back on him. Pete feels like he has lost his only identity, and he did it all just for the possibility of being with Vegas and now he's unseen.
And Vegas..well, he has nothing left and that doesn't refer to the people around him but his entire personality, his every action was based on pleasing his father and defeating Kinn so now he's lost, he doesn't know who he is anymore because just like Pete he lost his identity too, he needs to rebuild himself and hopefully he can do that with Pete by his side.
Then there is the beauty of Pete bringing Vegas food this time, he is now the one to satiates their hunger that they've sought for so long, he reassures Vegas that there is no one here to ruin this because they are their own unit now, nothing can set them apart anymore.
