First of all I'd like to add on to what you said. During the bar scene when pete was wearing a shirt without buttoning…
Thank you for pointing that out, I love how careful we are with these details ❤ and you are right, pete is so starved for vegas that he will try to resemble anything to him starting with his fashion style and even with the noodle soup, we know pete is not a big fan of them, he usually goes for anything rice and spicy related and now that he was back at the main house, he could easily grab whatever he wanted but he chose the one food that vegas first fed him
So let's talk about Pete's wounds and the time lapses. It's a bit hard to get through with the analysis because the lighting makes it difficult but let's see 🧐 there are 3 phases in this process, I'm not a doctor but if google has it right then there is inflammation, proliferation, and maturation.
From what I read, deeper wounds take longer to progress, and there can be several complications like infection which is proven in episode 11 when Pete is left unconscious after the severe whipping and it is also pretty clear that the injuries were not minor because during the first scene we can see there was no overflow with blood and that proves that they were pretty deep over the curve of the muscle.
With that being said, they are fairly severe and the worst one is on his pectoral from what I'm seeing and Vegas made sure to wrap it correctly starting at the end of it, as I said before he is probably an expert in this since macau would often go through this pain each time his father beat him and Vegas was most likely the one to bandage him so it makes sense. Later on, the wounds seem to be leaking with blood, some of which has dried and there are several black-brown bruises if I'm not mistaken by the lighting, so this is an early inflammation stage.
This was probably after the fifth scene and now there is some scabbing occurring after Vegas cleaned up the blood but still, he left some wounds exposed to our eyes, I'm wondering if he kept some of the injuries uncovered to be able to stare at what he has down to Pete from time to time, maybe out of satisfaction or perhaps to remind himself what a monster he was.
Okay, now back to the wounds, during the next scene I can see the scabbing is black due to the depth and if you look at the uncovered wounds, they appear to be less red and the severity eroded quite a lot. The edges of the laceration are cleaner now but although it doesn't seem to be painful, it's quite obvious that Pete is in pain and we can notice that when he tries to sit up, his body movements are weakened compared to his usual energetic motions. I think that this is a few days after infliction. The injuries are now more mild compared to how bad they were before.
Although they still seem a bit red at the centres, it looks like there is a lot of scab loss happening so it's not nearly as bad however as I mentioned above the pain Pete is in when he tries to get up indicates that although they are better, they are still hurting so I'll say this is the stage of proliferation so I guess this is a few weeks after the first process, it's important because there could be a lot happening during this time skip and of course we were robbed 💀Anyway the wounds are now smoothed out and some of them are entirely closed plus if it wasn't for the lighting I'd say the wounds are losing the horrific shade by now, this seems to be a few weeks after the first stage but a day after the sex scene.
Now let's talk about the escape scene, Pete's wounds are covered by his shirt so I can't really tell how far his progression is or how much time has already passed but we do see him naked during the bath scene. The one on his shoulder seems to be a little bit more serious than the other's but besides than that, the wounds are in maturation phase. I think that this is around 3 weeks after the whipping scene. So I'm going to guess and say that Pete's duration with Vegas lasted around 4 weeks according to his wounds.
