I think he is a good actor and plays his role well, but in some scenes it seems like he doesn't experience the…
I suppose that sums it up. I find that many scenes with him lack emotional depth and feel a bit flat, maybe it is also a writing thing like the other's said.
This is something i also have noticed. Tbh i like his acting specially in singular scene he does great job but…
I’ve noticed that he performs better on his own as well, but I still hope he will improve with the other's especially now that be on cloud seems to be pushing him and fuaiz as a pair they might get their own show
I'm not sure what happened with JJ. His acting in THC was fantastic, but in DFF and this show, it feels like his performance has declined. It just doesn't resonate with me, especially when he's next to Fuaiz, who is absolutely nailing every scene. In my opinion, JJ needs to work more on his acting. Of course, this is subjective—I'm aware that some people might find his acting amazing, but for me, it’s just not hitting the mark.
I have to admit, the sex scene is depicted with great delicacy. This is their first time together, and it appears to be Great’s first experience with a man as well. Tyme, unsure of how to begin, leans on the bed and gazes at Great's lips, hesitating to kiss him directly. Instead, he starts with a gentle kiss on the forehead—a cautious approach to gauge Great’s comfort. He then moves to bite Great’s nose in a playful manner and waits for him to make the next move. Even when Great initiates the kiss, Tyme pulls back slightly, looking into Great's eyes to silently communicate and ensure that Great is comfortable and willing. Throughout the scene, Tyme checks in with Great, asking if he is okay even when they giggle and laugh.
Bible’s vocal changes are the key for me; his voice gave me a sense of vulnerability and flustered submission, a significant shift for someone who, until now, has held a position of power due to his father’s influence.
My problem with the editing remains but otherwise, it was beautifully intended.
Great trying to intimidate Tyme after surgery was too funny, especially since he was just bouncing around like an eager little cat the scene before. Great, you're barely 2 inches tall and as greedy as a feline. Sit down, babe. 😭
the ending confuses me as hell, not able to sleep cause i'm thinking abt that agdhhfjg
The ending reveals two timelines: one shaped by Great and the original reality. In the original timeline, Great's changes never took place—Dome, the woman, and likely Nan all died. In Great's altered timeline, however, they’re all alive. I guess tonkla has the unique ability to perceive both timelines at once that's why he feels his brother coming home but doesn't see him
I had to run to type this. Guys heed not. I have hope. I just ran from twitter. Jes said the first 4 eps were…
They probably noticed the uproar on Twitter due to the limited screen time and felt the need to address it. I hope they can meet the expectations they're setting
Seriously? Why is everyone squabbling over this? It seems so unnecessary. Can’t we all express our opinions without turning it into a heated debate?
-It’s perfectly valid for people to feel frustrated or disappointed about the limited screen time of the main couple.
-It’s equally valid for others to be enthusiastic about Win, Tonkla, Korn, or any other characters they prefer. If they resonate with you, that’s great. I, for instance, preferred the side couple in KP, though I didn’t get as much of them as I would have liked so you are lucky.
-Criticism of characters—whether it’s positive or negative—is acceptable, as long as it’s focused on the characters themselves rather than the actors.
-And lastly, people are entitled to express their opinions about what BOC or the writers are doing. Many, including myself, feel it’s problematic to use Jes and Bible as a cover while giving others more screen time.
Now can we please respect each other’s opinions and avoid these childish disputes?
I think everyone is too focused on the NC scenes. Look, I'm not sure if this is Jes's first time in a BL. If it…
No one is criticizing the acting—it was fantastic, and it didn’t even look like it was their first time. Their kisses and touches were intense and well-executed. The issue people have is with the editing.
Please raise your hand, but be honest, if you wouldn't be disappointed if Doc and Great had the same amount of…
I joke around a lot about wanting more NC scenes between Bible and Jes, but honestly, it would bug me just as much if those scenes were taking away from the plot. Right now, it feels like they're just padding things out. Those scenes could be used to develop the characters and advance the story, not just fill time. I get it—one or two NC scenes is fine, but if they’re in every episode, it’s overkill. Even with Bible and Jes, it would get repetitive and distract from the main plot.
